    Zxr250

    Hi all

Im looking at an old ZXR250 and i was hoping somebody on here may be able to clear something up for me...

most that ive seen are like this green one, they have smooth frames and the air rams look almost home made and just abruptly end at the tank

But the one im looking at has pressings running down the frame and the air rams have nice little rubbers that attach them to the tank.

Look up a parts diagram to see which which is legit. I like the black one, looks sick.

That ram air is used to cool the rectifier I believe. I may be wrong though, been a long time since I rode one.

from memory they came in A, B and C versions. Model C was the one to get, it had USD's which could stop the bike within 2m from 60km/hr.

seriously cool bikes the ZXR250's they have issues with the cam chain tensioner. The Honda MC22 was better in this regard as it has cam gears.
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

My black 1989 A has the rubber boots on the ram air inlets, and I'm pretty sure it has the pressings along the frame.
