There no way I'm getting a spanner in there. So how can I get it undone so I can remove the O2 sensor.

Something like this? These are for brake pipes, it may be possible to get tube sockets with a cutaway to perform the same function
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.

Is the O2 sensor goneburger anyway? or are you refitting it?
To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?
Ha! I never knew those tools existed. I don't need one but they look so cool I'm going to buy one anyway![]()
High miles, engine knock, rusty chrome, worn pegs...
Brakes as new
take the exhaust clamp off then access should be a peice of piss
I think it's buggered. It was off for a couple of years after O2 blanks got fitted, then it was refitted when a booster plug got installed and the engine started running rough when at constant speed. I unplugged the booster plug but it didn't help so I've ordered new O2 blanks.
What about a tool made specifically for the job? That might work.

Well the 22mm O2 sockets they had are too big. I tried a few flare nut wrenches, but they're too fat to fit between the fins. The only other option is a O2 socket set, but I'm not forking out for that for a one off job. Looks like the best option is to take it to the bike shop to have it done.
Just watched a vid of the finned collar being removed and it looks easy enough. Will give that a go when the O2 blanks arrive.
So now I need to unclip these electrical connectors that have tabs on three sides that need to be pushed in to remove. Any ideas as I don't have four hands?
Nevermind, I got it.
