Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.
UP on yer hind wheel F5 Dave!
he certainly was one of life's unique individuals as someone else pointed out, he lived life on his own terms.
Funeral apparently Friday 13th 11am at Brooklyn bowling club. There's potentially 2 but one is defunct, trying to get clarified.
There will be a ride , bring a 2 stroke if you can.

sorry been years, but is this Mike Vash the ex milkman .
Lived around Brooklyn,mid seventies ?
You'd never go hungry with Nigella Gaz.
If it weren't for flashbacks...I'd have no memory at all..
RIP Mike. I remember the day a workmate came up to me and said "There is a guy outside hugging your bike and talking to it!". I went out and found Mike Vash.
He was a top guy and he gained my respect and admiration.
I'm really sad to hear this news. The World has lost a unique and totally well meaning man.
Nice little 2 stroke.

I remember him riding an RZ dressed in yellow PVC rainwear on one of the 1000 milers I did out of Turangi in the early nineties
Yep that's him. In so many ways.
I'm not into naming bikes but in the 90s he had 2 RZ350s on the go at any one time. One was Sprite. Erm. . Might come to me. Not sure about 500.

Well it was a good send off. Eclectic mix of people. Cant load picture but coffin done in Yamaha colours.
Lots of loud music it was fitting.
I was lucky in my association with Mike as he bought Chris Sayle's dyno. I used it extensively and learnt much about 2 stroke tuning. I was pretty much the sole operator for the last 10 years. Just because Mike decided someone needed to buy it so it didn't get lost.
Cheers Mike. A guy who wasn't afraid to just do something. Socially inappropriate or not..

Pleased to see he had a good send off. RIP.
Well I missed the 5 year anniversary. And the 6th by a bit.
BIG WHEELIES!
