    Puke 29th Oct

whos planning to go? Its my first time. Im keen as , Im guessing they have bikes and cars seperate every open day?

After a little research, I came up with
    1. bike in good nic - brakes etc
    2. no loose/sharp bits
    3. my cordura 2piece fine
    4. turn up on the day with money and a life signing pen.
    5. take mirrors off and tape speedo and lights (with duct tape?)

If its not too sunny I'll wear my clear visors so everyone can pin point the moment my sphincter goes innie.

hey , yep bike should be in good nick!
    your cordura is fine

some guys take off mirrors just so it stops you allways looking at them and not at the track ahead

what i would suggest taking is
plent of cash for fuel lunch etc,,,,
    hat
    drink
enjoy the day will be awesome!

    Cool

Strat - if your mirrors can be turned/pushed inwards without having to take them off... then do that... it will save you the trouble of taking them off when you arrive at the track and putting them back on when its time to leave. Thats what a lot of the guys do with their mirrors.
    Good luck on the track.

Pays to bring something to eat and drink. Also make sure your tank is full - you'll still probably need to shoot up the road to fill up again half way through the day.

Will probably be coming by later in the morning to *watch* you guys for an hour or so then blast off down the infamous 22 for FREE...should be a good day for it , hope you enjoy it heaps!

Anyone wanting to come for a ride down with me, i'll be riding into Autobahn, Papakura at 11.00am for 15mins to gas up and meet any of you that turn up, then off down to the Drury turnoff and head up Runciman Rd to the track.

Attached are some pics from this & last years trackdays I've attended. Rep points for anyone who can first-time guess who the KBer is who ran off the track in pic 5 (sucker?), and who's the owner of the race Gixxer in pic 2??

looks like weather might behave. I wasnt feeling to "in sync" with the bike tonight, will get some sleep and see if I go on the track tomorrow. Will still come and watch at the least.
