Any predictions on turnout to this thing? I went to a weekend open day once, and it was full of muppets crashing in to each other in the hairpin. Not too keen on going if it's gonna be like that.

Correct. See Stroudy standing to the left in casual wear admiring his Suzuki NZ owned machine.

yep. He reckoned 57.6s on a full race machine, and 58.9s on a street GSXR round Puke IIRC.... Not much difference is there?? Makes you wonder why people bother to mod GSXRs if they are that good already.....

Some would say that gap is substantial, cos every split second counts in racing!

is the run off Gixxer the Monkey of Drunkeness?
Tha Jandal: Adding another dimension to "rubber side down"

Jandal [jan-duhl] noun: a mythical entity presiding over bikers
Jandal [jan-duhl] verb: "to jandal" is to involuntarily separate from one's boik.
Jandalled [jan-duhlled] past tense - usage: "bro, I've just gone and jandalled it"

    Yep!

That straight coming down to the hairpin is scarey at times eh Al!

Which non-Aucklander can name the KBer in the attached KB track day pic from last year. Dead easy if you've met him, so please no Aucklanders answer this.

And for more green bling who can name 3 KBers in the pic of the sad SP1?

You can call me Matthew if you want JSG.

Get that bike painted soon dude, looks pretty sad at the mo! Glad you're enjoying it though.

Yeah did the Loop 2 weeks ago with Viff, Blackbird, Bykey Cop, and Mac from the UK. Choice road, up there with the best for sure, such a variety of straights & twisties throughout!

Not sure at this stage about what next Saturday will bring...this weekend's riding hasn't even started yet!
