    Electric/Petrol Bike!?

Yamaha have a concept bike that is powered by an R6/electric combo. I don't know about the 60's look. Could be a bit of a slug me thinks.

pfft.. what a waste of effort..
but then, the first hybrid cars were pretty drastic, but now they're out and about and look 'normal'.. but why put an awesome engine from an R6, then put batteries in it? and then make it look like a 50's throwback?

i guess when you're stuck in traffic doing 1km/h an electric bike would be fine - then the 600 bursts into life once out of the parking lot/batteries run out. not sure 'bout the styling though

Was all set to do my normal " I hate Hybrids" jiggy dance, until I saw the styling.

I'd buy that to replace the CB, and then I'd have two R6 engines. Cool.

I wonder if it could wheelie?
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods
