I bought the lock back in 1978 when I bought my first road bike a Honda CJ250. I've cut the old crusty heat shrink off the cable. This actually stopped some bugger trying to steal my GSX750EZ in the early '80s and you can still see the indent were they tried to cut the cable. I'll get some yellow heat shrink to put on it and get a new spare key cut tomorrow.
Oh and the wallet was under my pillow. Damn old age.
I've got one of those but with a shorter wire loop. I've had it at least since the 80's. It stays strapped to my "Town" pushbike because its the perfect shape and it means it "should" be there when I return. I dont like riding any expensive pushbike into town.
