Superbikes are in action in Jerez but I see no mention on Sky. WTF?

Race 1 sounds like an intense five way shoot out.

There is a new Sufuoglu (?sp) in the results. A nephew of Kennan finished 6th in SSP300.

Ex Motogp rookie Jonas Folger is set to race in WSBK riding a R1 at Barcelona in a few weeks time, he's been riding and doing well in the German Superbike series.

Aragon FPs Tom Sykes BMW came to a slow halt puffing blue smoke apparently not too much wrong as he was back out again ok later, the beemer is slow at 300kph down the main straight compared to the Honda 318kph, Tom said he's relying on a tow.

Alvaros Honda spewed what looked like coolant down the finishing straight in FP1, another engine fitted for FP2 but a no show as there was oil showing on the bike and they were not sure if it was from the old or new one, he also had a minor tumble.

Lowes had a crash but ok and leads the way for the moment with Rea next. Temps are warm but not crazy.

    The Ducatis looking ok.

The Yamahas are a bit further back.

I reckon eh, JR looked quite comfortable when leading but was obviously close to the maximum, this showed as he tried and failed to get past SR when he come thru and then loosing 2nd to CD (good race from Chas starting from 9th)

Dont know why Eugene Laverty crashed on the sighting lap ?

Alex Lowes highside was a bit strange but spectacular.

laverty hadnt any brakes was the reason he crashed on that sighting lap.

Hard to see Rea not winning a Superpole damn he's good, a very strong performance in race 2 his only blemish a wrong gear choice and almost crashing that let Chas briefly thru before laeding and winning again - at a Ducati track.

Good work from Chas to take 2nd but had used up everything to get there and not really threaten Rea, needs to start on the front row.

Honda will be pleased with a podium and will be up there again as long as Alvaro stays upright.
