A few tyre gambles didnt pay off some, Rinaldi had a pretty good race frustrating Rea but not quite enough to hold him up, Rea rode hard to stay with Rinaldi and managed to pass and win, Redding 3rd. Davies and Bautista crashing out while in good positions.

Actually watched the last race with my eyes drooping in bed.
Good battling and a great track. Rea really wanted the win and threw down to get it. Good racing and great to see some guys challenging him

Jeeze the WSSP race had a very nasty downpour mid way thru causing all sorts of dramas and a new winner.

A good 3rd for Chas coming thru the pack with Redding 2nd & Rea 1st for race 1.

Toprak has binned it and has chest injuries ini the warm up and is out for superpole and R2 .

Jonas Folger placed 12th in Race 1

Its a shitty weekend weather wise at the French round , the BMWs are 1 & 2 after superpole....come R1 however and both are taken out first corner

Rea had a fairly large battle with Baz and Gerloff who had a big off , Rea is too good and wins he has a chance to wrap up the title this weekend. Baz 2nd Lows 3rd.

So the title is going to have to wait till Estoril , last time WSBK were there was back in 93.

Rea wins SP race SL 2nd VDM 3rd

R2 and SR takes it to Rea and buggers off , Baz comes thru and Davies eventually , JR 4th altho he did try a come back and came close to Chas.
Weather wise a lousy wet weekend over for them, hopefully Portugal brings sunshine.

The results would probably suggest Rinaldi deserves a shot at it on the factory bike.

Chas has 222 points Rinaldi 166 would suggest Chas is doing better this year , prolly previous seasons where Chas has sorta been no where maybe is his down fall ? Altho Chas reckons the team have finally 'listened' to him on how he wants the bike set up this year and is getting results because of it.
