    Sheared Bolt Help

Hey, anyone local in Auckland, Flat Bush area able to do a bolt extraction? Bolt head sheared for clip holding the clutch assembly to the handlebar leaving remaining part of the bolt stuck. As I can't ride it due to the aforementioned, will need someone who can come to me. Willing to pay for your assistance, mobile mechanics call out fees are just way too much as most are based up north. Thanks

Why can’t you just drill it out carefully, retap the thread and whack another bolt in it. Or call a bike wrecker and get the bit you need?

Much cheaper than getting a mobile fixer.

Go to Repco and buy a small pair of needle nosed vice grips. Use them to clamp the clutch mount to the bar. Ride to garage for the fix.

Put vice grips in tool kit for the next drama. Win Win.

Probably fixed the bolt by now, but no harm in another idea.. I walked a bolt out this evening using a cold chisel some times you can get lucky. You might be able to sharpen something small and just punch it out slowly
