Nice for you - you will have it in spades if you live out your full expectancy. - Me? I have never experienced it except under cover of another name and that is like Forest Gump's box of chocolates theory!

Ok. My KiwiSaver account value has now dropped 7% and it was in conservative grouping to start with. I've now changed it to a very conservative setting.

Maybe this might teach the world that there's far more important things out there than money.

AGREE !!!!!! from the news flash at 12.00am today, we may have to treat this a bit more seriously and hunker down for some bad times ahead of us. At level 2 now but shortly level 3 (not good).

Looking on the bright side - if there is one. One feels for the people being laid off, chances of getting a job anywhere but a supermarket must be slim indeed for most right now.

Unlike their counterparts in the US though, people here can still access medical treatment. In the US medical insurance for most people is tied to their employment, no job, no insurance. Getting off laid off means no cover, and this at a time of an international health emergency.

I could handle a modern day version so long as the ownership model isn't community based, and still individual based.

7%? How would 25% make you feel? virtual facepalm only as a real facepalm is banned.

Yeah, but you can't eat cynicism.
You will be able to shoot your high horse & eat that though.

I knew you'd be the first person to take offence at the comment.

I didn't take offence at all, I was simply pointing out some alternative meal options for you, seeing as being able to afford to buy food dosent feature large in your thinking.
