If that's the retail, they won't sell many...

Think I'd rather get a Yamaha Tricity and save myself a grand (if I was in that market)

    Wow - $7k+. Really???

I like it but I can't see it making much of an impact sales-wise at that price. Greedy importer do we think or is there another reason?

A Royal Enfield Himalayan is $7500 including on road costs. Fucking tempted.

yeeeep the euro4 version is an OK bike now manufacturing has been upped --- still a heavy bike but it will get you there in the end if you can struggle it up off it's side ;-P

seems chinese manufactured bikes from the big manufactures now cost too much so NZ has gone to india for their lower cost bikes (indian built Gixxer 250 vs Haojue(suzuki china) Inazuma/GSX250r etc which is a POS of an engine)

thats the thing eh! I dunno why the importers for Hyosung OR Haojue didnt import their LIKE honda cub 110's into the market and sell for their retail of $1500-3000 NZD! the amount of sales would have destroyed the scooter market as its actually HIPSTER looking + cheap and easy to run and MORE FUN with bigger spoked wheels and gears w/centrifugal clutch. but hey... i'm no marketing guy... just a market analyst. if I had a supplychain setup to import said bikes it would have been done. anyway, looking forward to bluewing aussie going bust in 5 years, then maybe a more passionate player will pickup the license (if personal transport is still allowed post Electrification/automation)

there would have been huge vlogs on cub adventures inspiring young generations to actually jump on a bike and go on adventures again, as all old guys are dwindling, if carona doesnt get you time and achy bones will stop you and there is a vacuum with new rider uptake. anyway /rant

exactly... another concept artist not designing around the parameters needed for manufacturing... then he can complain that it was ruined IF it ever gets to market, when really he was terribad at design in the first place.

You could buy an original, restore it with all nos parts & have something that's actually cool for a lot less while enjoying the experience.
