Big shout-out to the Tile Warehouse, their local shop was were I got all the supplies and a metric crap-tonne of advice - so if you need tiling done and are thinking 'well if some fat IT Nerd can do it, so can I' - definitely go check them out.

Dunno if it's just me but I always end up using every tool I posses for the simplest of jobs. The time spent grabbing more gear and taking it all back is sometimes longer than the job.

I also found out that ants love, really love, setting up home between the floor and expol. Never seen so many!

Pest control is the next job... Dunno quite how I'm going to get rid of them.
hahahahaha - I hear you on using every tool - I had to use the Multitool, grinder, tile cutter, drill etc. to do the tiling.

Not sure which one you mean - but there's a Range Hood, there's the Oven, there's an Insinkerator and the one in the floor is for a USB charging station in the Island.

    Oh LOL!

Yeah, it's 14.2 m2, those are 600x600 tiles - but I see what you mean.

Although now you mention it, Spa Bath is a great idea...

Ive decided gib stopping is not for me.

Next week I will hire somebody and just get it done.

And tip I found out, if you have an older place get the flooring tested for asbestos.

I'm going to shock you and disagree, Asbestos can be quite good.
I sell a product with blue asbestos in it to be exact, goes really well for me too!

Just in case you think I'm trolling.... Behold Blue Asbestos included quartz crystal from Colombia. It is super rare, I pay a miner wages (effectively his family) to source them for me.
I't is really interesting material, completely safe as the asbestos was enclosed in the quartz from any thing from .8 to 1.2 billion years ago - and no that time frame is not a typo. The other inclusions inside the crystal include Limonite and Chlorite, some copper too.
You want some keys of Colombian crystal, I can hook you up bro

Do you tie string around it and tell people if they are expecting a boy or a girl?

    Long time no update.

    Mainly because reasons.

So first up - we have my floor looking much nicer and swankier, after the grouting was done and the floor was washed:
