An update! No bracketeering, though.

I am really keen to see how they went about designing the dash.
I would have thought having only seen it running dreadfully, getting it on the dyno and the ECU mapped correctly would be the first thing to do.
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.

It's shit. It needs to be crushed into a small cube. Who the ever living fuck spends this much money on an Allegro? I'll tell you: A colossal fucking idiot. I hope some random piano drops out of the sky the first time it's wheeled into the sunshine and fucks it up four ways from Tuesday.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?
Now then. This is special: its the two door with the fancy front panel. British Leyland's answer to the hot hatch. I am hoping that the first time he feeds it the fat on the road it stretches and the doors fly open... Old boy doing the fabrication seems to know his shit. (I am only at Ep 2 but enjoying the build. I do like the big old jig he built too though it isnt as sophisticated as the Binky one.

There was something in a book about how the princess was designed to be a hatchback but BL thought it would steal sales from the Allegro so they deleted it.
Only redeeming quality wityh princesses was they had Lockhead 4 piston calipers that you could transplant onto Ford Escorts.
At the time, the only thing uglier then both of the Princess and the Allegro was the Maxi.
