    Still that paint job.
My second car was a Morris Minor traveller which I loved.

I had a Mk1 Escort (1.3l) at one point. 4 door. AWFUL car. I am going to google that though.

I saw one ages ago that had a 12A bridgeport Rotang in it, which I grudgingly admit was kinda cool. Pig to fit in the engine bay apparently even though the motors are physically quite small.

Crikey! It's all coming out now.

2 years running I got a lift to Glastonbury in an ex UK post office Morris Minor traveller. Oh, the shenanigans.

That stirs another memory. I fondly remember being taken advantage of by an "older woman" - with huge knockers - who drove a Morris Minor. She got me in to see the Scorpions for free, took me home and had her way after we finished our kebabs.

    Ah, cheers for the memories.

After our mini was passed onto a favoured cousin, I got to use a cooking model fiord laser. Then we swapped back for a week for some reason. At 16 I remember being startled how everything on the mini was completely shit. I was spoilt by an ex rental 1100cc 1980 Mazda clone.

Best feature on the mini, which now felt like sitting on a vibrating collapsed beer crate was the oversized steering wheel which helped you to pull on as you stamped on the brakes. Bear in mind the previous owner from new was my granny and is was low mileage so it wasn't a nail, except by design.

Actual suspension, actual brakes, and a gearbox that wasn't like shaking a stick in a cave will be a substantial improvement on Binky, let alone seats made for humans and rain sensing wipers.

Makes me wish I had started a Youtube channel to document the cottage renovation we started 8 years ago. One room is almost finished. Looks good, though.

No way I can compete in the bracketeering league. I am a 6th Dan with No More Gaps, though.
