    Yamaha MT 09 ECU flash

    Hi folks,

I'm thinking about an ECU flash for my MT 09. Can anyone recommend someone with expertise on the MT 09, and if anyones had it done, I'd really like to get your feedback.

    Cheers

Ring BRM in Paeroa 0274031119 (Brett Roberts). He uses Woolrich racing for reflash software (which they probably have a solution for the MT) and then can get it dialled in on the dyno for you, which is where the real benefit is (and the skill).

He's also not that far from you when lock down is up.

Brett's done all my race bike dyno work for years. Knows his shit inside and out.

Agree and mines going there after lockdown.

Be careful with who does it as these ECUs can be easily locked up or have the ability for the error codes to be removed by OBD2 turned off.

Brett can also do an Autoblipper.....

I got ecu flash and cruise control; from Tune Boy in Aussie.
Very happy with it made it much nicer to ride at low speed got rid or the snatchyness that it had before. Feels more responsive not that Im a racer
The cruise control is great to give your right arm a rest on long rides.

How does that work mate? Do they send you the equipment to flash it along with a tune?

Hi yes they send a lead that you plug in to diagnostics port and your laptop.
You then download program from their website and they send you relevant flash files and passwords to unlock ecu.
If you have cruise control you get a wiring loom that plugs into rear light circuit with original plugs no cutting of wires.
I did mine a couple of years ago very pleased with it
