NZ Pop 4 million or thereabouts 1,039 cases, Hong Kong, pop 7.5 million or thereabouts, 862 cases, in around 1% of NZs land area - so they are pretty closely packed What are they doing right or what are we doing wrong?

So that's where Peak prosperity get their COVID-19 statistic feed from.
Stats are at the start but for some reason the link is defaulting to 3/4 way through...

The mob down the road from us need to get caught. The missus made the comment yesterday that they were probably doing essential deliveries so had a valid reason for being dicks on their tractors.

They prob have better diet and better functioning immune systems from being exposed to a variety of bugs more often. Prob more traditional medical practices than western ways of poisoning our bodies with so many drugs for minor ailments.

The entire prison/police cells/courts are already at capacity. They can’t even arrest all the drunken dicks on a normal Saturday night that they’d like to, only the worst dumbfucks actually get arrested.
Jacinda ain’t got the balls to set up the concentration camp style detention centres that would be needed.
It’s already evident across countries different responses that basic hygiene and distance etiquette stops the virus.

Everyone NEEDS to go outside though. Your immune system NEEDs sunshine to process vitamin D and a short walk to drive oxygen to all cells and keep circulation going.

No to both of those things. It's a filthy sputum and snot covered shithole and it is so densely populated it boggles the mind. Personal hygiene is not a thing in Hong Kong. Traditional Chinese medicine is placebo based bullshit for the masses. The ruling elites of "China" have always accessed far better diet and health practices than the proles. Modern accupuncture was invented in the 20s in the West. Traditional acupuncture is just bleeding someone with a 20 gauge needle.

Speaking of statistics the total worldwide COVID-19 recorded cases has just topped 7 million. Considering the world's current population is 7.8 billion that means that the percentage of humans that have been (confirmed) infected by this virus is approaching 0.1% of the total population.

That puts the spread of the virus in some sort of perspective; very low worldwide but some countries have well and truly copped over the odds - 0.6% in the US, 0.4% for the UK, Qatar 2.4%, Bahrain 0.9%, Singapore 0.7%

Most sources these days refer to NZ population as five million.

    I only mention that because:
    a) 4m is seriously out of date and,
    b) the difference is a significant percentage.

You know, at the beginning of the epidemic in Ukraine, many people fought hard against the epidemic. But now they have relaxed and ceased to defend themselves. Because of this, the number of people who became ill again began to grow!
