WTF has happened in Tauranga, where a plague ship was given permission to berth, then port workers told to board it, so now there are a bunch of people in isolation and waiting for test results, having meanwhile spent the weekend doing things that people do in their time off.

Someone really needs to be held accountable for this, and in a big way not just an "apology"
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
those cheap ass bitches can do anything with ductape.

Got my first jab earlier today and a nice sandwich, biscuit and cup of tea while they waited for me to turn zombie.

So far the only thing I've noticed is that I can change the channel on the telly just by thinking about it.

Oh, that's easy. Just wait until your other super powers start to kick in. [I won't ruin the surprise].

But you have to be judicious in their use. Which is why the wife threatens me with GBH if I even think about changing the channel.

Ah, your wife is jabbed and developed mind reading powers?

Wait, my partner has been able to do that forever.

Hopefully I develop better trials skills as a consequence of the second shot.

I can't speak for trials riding, but I wish you well.

But on the open road, should the gentleman in front not move over to allow an overtake, one might consider meddling remotely with his ride mode (change setting to Rain mode) or maybe gentle application of the hand brake. Invoking the Kill switch is perhaps a little extreme.

Don't want to start any rumours, but since my second jab I have not been able to get 4G or 5G on my phone but if the kids use it they can.

I'm old school ... I just shoot out their tires ...

However ... I got the first jab yesterday. I'm now eagerly waiting to see what superpowers I may develop ...

I didn't get any superpowers. Didn't even get a sore arm. They did tell me drink lots of fluids, although I don't normally need much encouragement.

    And then there was Ivermectin...

There is nothing in that article that states/suggests people that took that vaccine ... were more likely to catch covid.

Ivermectin quote. "it’s also used against some human parasites."

I know a few people round here who need a shot of it.

. . . And it's not a vaccine. It's a drug. FJ was trying to be funny. Must try harder.

Was listening to a podcast the other night. Despite the evidence that the drug is ineffective against COVID, there is a shortage of the Ivermectin pills in parts of the US. The chosen substitute veterinary item is horse paste, that comes in apple flavour. (Sorry, flavor.) Evidently the apple flavoured horse paste is more palatable than the sheep drench.

I guess that makes a change from the silly bastards pointlessly popping hydroxychloroquine.
