Who’d have ever thought that the evils our ancestors died fighting against would become the new populist ideals that the Dunning-Kruger stricken minorities would embrace in some bizarro new world utopia.

I guess if your into self arm and other mental disorders then mass starvation and no freedom of personal choice/travel/religion/accomodation/education/occupation is prob pretty appealing.

Soooooo, I took myself into town today and now have a credit card sized laminated Vax pass nestled in my wallet beside teh driving licence.

    Pop, scan, thank you Mam.

Still got it on my phone if anyone is a bit suss on it.
Nice that someone understands this a little. I guess some people are so enamoured thinking they are doing something special to help society they are overlooking the mechanics of this.

Unless youÂ’ve ever worked in a real job involving some kind of mechanical or machine process works with repetitive cycles people wonÂ’t understand the true implications on cycle time of everyday activities.
We are now ALL that annoying person in the que holding things up by talking to cashier/hunting for loose change/writing a cheque/ordering a coffee in sole crew servo etc....
This all creates a new problem which of course will be solved when we get our RFID microchips implanted under our skin or the UV forehead tattoos.

IÂ’m a shorts and t shirt kinda bloke so when I go shopping I donÂ’t have space to carry much.
Now when I get out of car I need to grab two sets of keys, wallet, phone and a mask. ItÂ’s a three handed job that is so impractical.

Btw does anyone else see the folly of presenting your smartphone within breathing distance of the “inspector” at a busy venue given this is the device we constantly touch and handle. Just one infected inspector could be a superspreader at a large event.

    In theory there's a difference....

    But in practice....

That's completely normal. No normal person should have any difficulty with that. Hmmmm.

Print off your covid pass. Laminate it for easy / regular cleaning. You have it in your hand a lot less than your phone, so less risk of spreading anything.

Without the ability to be a winey troll I am picking he might have to take a look at why he needs to troll on the internet as he has no success in life plus why everyone thinks hes a tool.

Being a very pragmatic person I’m well aware of various work around me we can all come up with for life’s problems... necessity being mother of all invention.

The ONLY people who carry a man-bag in my neighbourhood are p dealers and fry heads, it’s not a good look at all....

The govt FORCES one badly thought out mandate after another on us without taking time to think about reality or implementation, I will continue to ruthlessly critique that. We PAY them to operate a monopoly service and we unfortunately continue to get poor results.

    Seriously?

USA deaths per million 2,300 plus
UK deaths per million 2,000 plus
NZ deaths per million 9 (rounded up)

You can whinge and mumble nonsense but we were very lucky to have this government. Luxon wants to open the country up. He cares more about money than people. Collins would have been no better.

And English would have followed Keys playbook and never considered closing the border to tourists in March 2020. Jeez imagine the state we would have been in?
