Hyosung Reliability (Can they eat up the K's?)

Hi I'm a newbie in town and I'm looking at swapping my 1990 C1 ZZR1100 (thats in need of some TLC) for a going 2009 Hyo GT650 (Reg'd & WOF'd) but am wondering about how reliable these Korean bikes are.

My question is.... Are there any members who own or have owned a Hyosung with high mileage 60,000 and above

I've read about some of their common issues like with the Stator, Rectifier, loose bolts, Soft suspension but keen on hearing positives and negatives from other Hyo riders out there

Keep the ZZR. It's an icon.

    A Hyo for a ZZR? Is this a piss-take?

I owned an 08 gt250r and it felt like it was from the 80s. I'd either sell the 1100 and buy something else or fix the 1100

    Thanks

Thanks for your thoughts, not many positives.... I know the ZZR is an iconic bike that was my main reason for buying it in the first place. Always wanted one... and then I almost wrecked myself, and have to admit this has way more power for me to enjoy. I quite like the "old" school tech on the Hyosung's as they appear easy to work on. Appreciate the feedback, but have decided to do the deed and swap

That twisty thing on the right handlebar controls the power, easy as can be, not even 150 hp IIRC.

Good luck with the Hyo. You'll understand why many said don't do it in short order
