It's called assimilating. I came here for work, liked what I saw and chose to live here. I didn't inflict my culture, religion or beliefs on the locals, I didn't build mosques, I didn't complain that some observance days ie Xmas and Easter offended me or start whole communities like others from other countries like to do.

Having said that if someone opened a decent fush 'n chup and pie shop I wouldn't complain...

So you are still not that familiar with The whole US first amendment the the constitution thing, The US has had since December 15, 1791 the idea of it is to protect the rights of all its citizens religious freedoms.

But as with Jason, the inference was clearly that building mosques something that you are not meant to do in the USA. If you want to assimilate to be american , Ergo somehow displaying their religious expression is it somehow un-American.
Yet as the founding tenement of the first amendment to the US constitution is right to religious freedom including build, mosgues churches or synagogues or chapel's is something that's an unalienable right as an american.

not to be nit picky but a tenement is a building containing a series of separate dwellings, a tenet is a principle or belief. I think you mean the latter not the former?
