Allan and Jo provide a fantastic service. My job was for a pick up from a remote, out of the way location off SH4 in central North Island. Another motorcycle transport company quoted the same price but would not get off the main highway even though they advertise on their website as "door to door", which they obviously aren't. There was excellent communication and regular updates so I am extremely happy with the service provided. I had wound up in a bit of a pickle because the seller of the motorcycle I bought on TradeMe listed the location as Taumarunui whereas in fact it was extremely rural being 16km or so away from there. Allan had no hesitation in servicing the location for me which was a big load off my mind.

Got a little vintage Cub. I had a few mates over today to christen her and get her up and running. Pictured is me old mate James in his element. It's my opinion that these little 1960's pushrod Cubs, apart from being gorgeous little bikes, can only appreciate in value. This one doesn't pass the close up test and is beyond saving as a survivor bike so I'll be giving it the full treatment once my current CB750 project is out of the way. It was first registered as a 1962 model but as it spent a few years in Singapore, where it was purchased, before being registered in NZ so it may be earlier. I'll be able to tell once I get the leg shield off as the wiring harness has a tag that gives the year of manufacture. I haven't been able to date the bike by it's frame number as it doesn't feature on any of the literature I have so far found on the Interwebs. On of the guys in our group has 1959 Cub. That's super rare as only the second year of manufacture. Pictured is a CB750 belonging to a new member of the Classic Japanese Motorcycle Group, Christchurch. It's a real survivor with only 7000 genuine miles
