Another thing I'd rather pay for a $30 pair of chrome or black 7/8" motorcycle handle bars than those Renthal l(sic) taper bars any day of the week.

And while I'm at it under $30 for me 10,000kms trouble free is wonderful. Or riding in rain in PVC yellows and gumboots while other riders suites are leaking at the seams and socks are soggy...I could go on but I wont. Good luck with your overpriced kit.

I'm still using the same water-proof riding gear I bought in 1996. No issues ... so ... as I said ... you get what you pay for.

I've used PVC gear in the past.

Then I bought quality and never regretted it ...

Just because it's new does not make it quality.

Well gave the gloves a test today on a 3201km ride in the rain all the way. Conclusion-BRILLIANT!! Glad I got them. Also tested out my new boots (also on discount) and my old Dainese two piece leathers.Been a while since I've used them and put on a bit of extra weight. Lot better fitted now. Oh and the cheap helmet performed extremely well also.

Oh and I forgot to add I have 500m000kms of riding under my belt in all weather and all type of road conditions so do have a fair idea of what works and what doesn't.

there's much more to a helmet than crash protection. Poor fitting and poor breathing helmets cause distractions when riding, sometimes at critical times.
the gap between cheap and expensive in terms of quality has moved a lot decent fittings visors and vents so they don't get steamed up much more standard now

Agree completely. My one gave me complete confidence riding in the wet. Very good snug fit and I prefer double Ds on my helmets which this one has.

The resident safety idiot with safety in his nick makes it seem like riding in the rain is difficult.
