    Peter Green passed away

    Oh Well.

Love his sound and probably one of my all time fav tracks.

    RIP.

Who cares? Sad to see one of the greatest blues guitarists gone. However the music lives on!

Peter Green was tragic figure really. He had it all: superlative guitarist as well as a singer and songwriter. Then there was his mental illness. I saw a photo of him with fingernails on both hands about two inches long, obviously he hadn't been practicing for a long time at that point.

The sustain of his Les Paul was amazing and was later used to good effect by Gary Moore.

For anyone who is wondering what he did there is a good selection of both his early and later work on YouTube.
