    Some interesting bikes

It's chucking it down and blowing a gale outside so I'm cataloging a whole load of old images I recently digitized. For no other reason than for general interest, I've attached some photos of bikes which were at the Cambridge-Hamilton Toy Run I took part in in 1991 (I think) and at the Pukekohe classic weekend the same year. Ahhh.... nostalgia!

I think I see the issue with the Icarus dragbike. Whoever reassembled it put the cylinder head on back to front. Easy mistake, we've all done it.

Nope, not at all. But I'm not an engineer and use a servicing manual. And if available a illustrated parts break down.

The owner fired it up whilst I was standing there and it was no noisier than one with standard cans on. Bet the scenario was a bit different when it was under a decent load though

Hahaha! Bet the geezer in the photo was trying to minimise intake length. Fancy making such a basic mistake. Must have been pissed as usual
