Getting back in the saddle after 18 months off

    Afternoon Chaps.

After an 18 month absence, I am getting back in the saddle tomorrow.

My first KIWI bike was a BMW 310GS but I had to sell that because I am too damn short to ride it properly. Tomorrow I take delivery of a brand spanking new MT-03.

Will likely ride that for a few months and get the full license and then upgrade to the MT-07 (non Lams)

Had to dust off all my gear and its all still good although I could do with a new pair of riding pants. Any recommendations for a good set of riding jeans (any price range)?

Also, it will probably be a good idea to do another Ride Forever course. Those chaps are amazing.

    See you on the road!

Welcome back. Motomail seem to be the bees knees for clothing of any kind, kitted the wife and a new to ridig buddy of ours there over the last few years. They have almost everything.
Yep, get into the ride forever courses, another bloody good idea.
Every day above ground is a good day!:

    Good on ya.

When I got on back on the road again last Nov after not riding for five yearsI just eased myself in to it by doing a few 15 minute to half hour rides for two weeks or so then went for a wee toodle ove to Havelock North after that. 9.000kms up since January this year.
