By refusing to hear what was raised, on what many would consider a technicality (or worse a differing opinion), that may have consequences.

Regardless of standing? That's like saying regardless of reality. The Supreme court decided 7-2 against hearing the case.
Do you consider you know more than than the seven Justices who voted against? The seven included all three of Trumps appointees IIRC.

Also, you are using the word "evidence" very loosely.

From a Legal Standpoint, they've made their decision and I've said that I'll defer to it.

but I'm not talking about the Legal standpoint here - I'm talking about people who will see this and follow this line of logic:

    - We tried at the Soap Box and were censured
    - We tried at the Ballot Box and were cheated
    - We tried at the Jury Box and were dismissed
    - That leaves us with just the Ammo Box left

Whereas, if the court heard the case, heard the evidence and published the strong rebuttal, not a dismissal - but showed why the claim wasn't correct, people referenced above might not feel that they have only a single course of action left.

OK that's fair enough as far as it goes but... The people of whom you write have been brainwashed. And no, i'm not using that word loosely.

They only trust their sources, Fox, OAN, Newsmax and Sinclair. They will only consider evidence from trusted sources and currently even Fox is somewhat on the outer. They have already decided, and are being told by the White House press secretary, that the Supreme Court is corrupt.

These people need to be deprogrammed, but as soon as a trusted source tries, they wil no longer be a trusted source. It's a serious problem, I'm not sure anybody has the answer.

There was a US law said news coverage had to be fair, but Reagan repealed that. A first step would be to bring that law back and stop the insane nonsense that currently poses as news being broadcast. Closing Trump's Twitter account would be a small but useful step too, but currently it brings in too much money.

The solution is actually quite simple:

Stop the censuring and 'fact checking' on Social Media.

Each platform states that they believe that the integrity of the System is strong enough to withstand any critique and so it will support open discussion, without limits.

The institution(s) need to stop dismissing people's concerns about this election and engage with them seriously. I still have a number of issues for which the explanation is weak or otherwise not convincing.

The Evidence needs to be heard publicly and the rebuttals heard publicly.

If an Election is to be open and honest, then every part of it needs to be open and honest - telling people there's no cause for concern and to shut-up and accept the result you bigots is never going to work.

For sure The US media is not as tightly controlled as almost any other place in regards to having to prove what they say is actually factual nor not made up crap, but social media has no such limits.
that's why crap like alex jones and the other televangelists peddling stupid religions were able to flourish unfettered when it's so easily debunked
Fox and Russia today are ridiculous. Yet even Fox is now close to being not right enough for Trump supporters.
For anyone to suggest that anyone should be able to knowingly distribute false information on any media source is frankly idiotic.
especially when the social media companies have the right to decide to censure or remove what is posted on the sites they own.

Note the only people that tend to object to the media having to have to back up what they say as being factual, are the right wing parties..........
Anyone would think they want to use $$$$$$ to spread lies or something........

Sorry that's all complete nonsense! No sane person has much in the way of concerns, voter fraud in the USA is so rare as to be almost non-existent.

Nobody needs to listen to the inane rambings of imbeciles (or to people fishing for a pardon).

May I respectfully suggest you report for deprogramming?

    Wild Card

Did I happen to miss something today ? Did the Electoral College vote today, and in a wild card decision, elect Bill (instead of Joe) ?

    Worth a watch.

    Democracy comes first
You can claim to love America and hate democracy.
The people chose Joe Biden. It wasn't even close.
You can be angry trump lost, but there is no evidence of voter fraud.
you cant throw out votes because you don't like when you lose.
What matters most in this country is what the voters chose.

'The more you try and tighten your grip, the more will slip through your fingers'

The only way through is to have open dialogue. If you try and censure it, the people affected will be unconditionally convinced that you are trying to hide something.

Let the Imbeciles and the people fishing speak, then let the responses be heard also. Either all they have is baseless, unfounded accusations - at which point it should be easy to refute, or there is a kernel of truth that needs to be dug out and seriously addressed.

In either case, it is the ONLY way.

Yes. Today is TDL's big day. Of course when it doesn't turn out as he expected, I fully expect he will come up with a new event of critical significance.

Normally in the US the Electoral College is not a news event at all, today is different with news organisations offering live updates. One Republican politician in Michigan broadcast threats of physical violence on radio. He has been disciplined, but nothing too drastic.

Stephen Miller, Senior advisor to the president , has said some states will submit 'alternate electors'. That fits with this administration's 'alternate facts'. Miller is a vary rare employee in Trump's administration, he is one of very few remaining that were there at the beginning.

Meanwhile, we can but watch and wait.

As the Electoral College voting works its way from east to west across the time zones the process seems to be working as it should. The states where Trump has been trying anything and everything to get the will of the people overturned: Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Georgia, have all voted Biden/Harris.

There may be some angry tweets later in the day.

Gidday Pritch! Long time no see! Hope you are doing well!

I've been following this closely and can honestly say I totally get where you are coming from, however, Demond Lord is 100% correct. No matter what the outcome is the process, at least to me & many millions of others, appears to be pushing the country toward civil war as they just aren't listening & won't hear anything. Main stream media is nothing short of propaganda & while you make a strong case on one side it totally discounts looking at ones self in the mirror & questioning if a strawman is being argued.

There is no doubt this election has been a set up. A judge has ordered the release of Dominion voting machines report saying machines intentionally flipped votes. Now on top of this you have Big Tech & MSM, along with the DOJ squashing the Biden families activities until after the election. That is some serious foul play!

Here is my website, we have many sources of our info & happily share them www.planetb-media.com

ps: interestingly the odds on Betshare's site have not only slipped from mid 30's:1 for a Trump win but bets have just been suspended!

DUN DUN DUN......watch this space :-)

To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. There's hope for Judith yet. There are reports- on this very website, heck - in this very next sentence; specially trained left leaning rats broke into the nz ballot boxed and changed the Judith votes to Jacinda.

These same rats have been responsible for spreading a harmless flu virus all around the world so government commies would gain control of a compliant population and inject brain controlling microchips to make people even more stupid.

So far that is proving unnecessary or even possible and still retain the ability to breath.

Funny, I just thought about you yesterday. In conversation there was mention of somebody staying in temporary accommodation near Bell Street, and I wondered if it was the one with which you had a connection.
