You are completely missing the point. They had the election. They had counts, they've had recounts. The machines were chacked and reported to be accurate. The people who insisted otherwise have been sacked, as in Lou Dodd's case, or are facing legal actions for Billions. The arseholes who want the ballots and the machines have no more right to them than you or I basically. They were going to jail their own officials. Bonkers is right.
This is too silly, I'm outa here.

"I want you to fight like hell, march down there and fight, peacefully." Yep, the duck dynasty mob sure took his one calming word in a speech littered with hundreds of other inflammatory words to heart. Gimmie a break, one word designed to protect his skin for what he knew was coming does not get him a jet out of jail free card, unless you are a trump lover that gives him a free pass because he triggers those commie lefties you hate so much
You have piqued my interest, please post said videos, esp dem ones.
Keep clinging and hold on tight, just know Trump loves you for it.
It is a cow pat steam business, selling cow pats would just be silly
Oh, so what do you think about Trumps "I'll be right there along side you" comments in the same speech, then no follow through?
Careful with your reply, there is a real minefield if you start talking about which words the crowd need to heed and which ones to ignore - when taken in context of your posts above![]()
You did................oh dear.

Kinky is using a feather. Perverted is using the whole chicken
Again - nothing outside the realm of typical Rhetorical speech in the US:
Democrats should 'fight like hell'
Tony Evers will 'fight like hell'
Illinois Democrats vow to 'Fight like hell'
For every 'colourful' or fiery phrase that you can point to in the Speech, I am certain I will be able to find multiple instances of the Democrats and Republicans using similar terms and phrases.
However all that is Fluff because the actual line where he directs the crowd to do something, he unequivocally defines the manner in which the protest is intended.
Let's start with Maxine Waters: Telling her supporters to "Form a crowd and push back on them" and to "Harrass them" (Republicans) Now - Harassment is a crime, and so she's telling her supporters to commit a Crime.
For bonus points - that is exactly what did happen - people (not just republicans) were surrounded by angry Mobs in public and harassed by BLM protestors. Double ironic that the one person who didn't join in the 'act of solidarity'... Was a registered Democrat
Kamala Harris (context in this one is key - after the BLM Protests had killed more than 18 people, according to Wikipedia and $2.5 Billion according to Wikipedia):
So to everyone keeping up the fight, you are doing something. You are doing something great. - Again and I must stress - this speech was made AFTER multiple people had been killed in the riots, and she is telling them not only to keep up 'the fight' but they are doing something Great.
There's another one which, for the life of me, I can't find the source - I think it may be Nancy Pelosi or AOC where she is telling people that the protestors should be out 'Night after night' - again this is after multiple people have been killed, billions in property damage - and they are telling the people to keep going out.
In the last 2 - I want to expand a little bit: It's one thing to give a speech to a Crowd and then the Crowd go off and do something bad. It's another when the Crowd is already doing that bad thing and you go out and explicitly encourage them.
Not only that, but unlike Trump - in the statements where they are calling for people to keep fighting, to harass people, to be out night after night - there is no qualifying statement either in the sentence itself in the speeches, no demarcation that this is to be done 'Peacefully' or with just 'Your voices heard'
So I put it to you: If Trump is guilty of incitement, based on the standards the Democrats are setting forth - then there are multiple Democrats who have exceeded that threshold and should also be impeached.
Well, I won't hold my breath waiting for a Cheque.
Something interesting to note whilst driving around NZ however - I've seen at least 5-6 houses in different parts of the country, proudly sporting US Flags, Trump campaign flags and MAGA signs. Take a guess at how many houses display regalia in support of Biden - I'll give you a clue, it's an even number, smaller than 2.
Short answer: I have no opinion on it, because it is not a call to an action, directed at the crowd.
Physics; Thou art a cruel, heartless Bitch-of-a-Mistress
I reckon they have every right to jail the officials. They're keeping the thing alive instead of letting the machines prove them wrong. You just don;t get it. If there is nothing to hide and you are confident that there's nothing wrong with the machines... then give them the machines and FINALLY put it all to bed. Some people are beyond partisanship. You might wanna try it someday. It would restore the confidence in democracy also, which might just be at stake give that no one can check the machines to find out for sure. That is what is bonkers. FFS ANYONE CAN LOOK AT THE ELECTORAL ROLE, but nooooooooo, protect the machines and ballots... And I'm being silly.
I getcha pritch. No point flogging what you see as a dead horse to you. For others, they'd like to know for sure... as well as to see a line drawn under the whole fucking debacle. Anyhoo.

Bonus points for actually asking. Bravo. You're possibly the first to actually ask why. But then ya lose the bonus point for putting in the question mark, coz like HDC did with his "Jesus Really? fuck I need a gin" comment, you then went on and answered it without having actually received an answer. Such fucktardery, because you don't even know that you're doing it, does put a smile on my face though. Respect.
You will note that I didn't answer your question purposefully, coz you didn't really want an answer, right. Also note lack of question mark![]()

it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.

It's not something I've actually looked into with regards to NZ. But I'd have no issue with it given that there's no name or addresses on the ballots... and to be honest neither would I have an issue with it if names and addresses were on the ballots. If these sorts of things are publicly available, then there's less likelihood of there being a challenge in a tight or questionable race.
I didn't think!!! I experimented!!!
I doubt that. Some people think because they go behind a cardboard box that their vote in the election is secret. It's not. Their misunderstanding indicates a serious lack of situational awareness.
The ballots must be kept long enough to allow checks in case of alleged or suspected illegal voting and any recounts. How long they keep them I don't know.
The Arizona state politicians who want the ballots are being ridiculous. It would be illegal to give them the ballots. It would also be crazy. They think Trump won, they wanted Trump to win, if they got their hands on the ballots he would win. Whether he did or not.
Afterthought:
A quick check reveals nothing about how long NZ ballots are kept. Ohio and Washington DC both keep ballots for federal elections in secure storage for 22 months.

If you want to know more feel free to check.
Lauren Boebert was recently elected to Congress, she's a Trumpist gun activist who wants to wear her piece in the chamber. She owns a restaurant promoting wearing of guns, but not masks apparently. The tax people were into her for $20,000 in back taxes. By a remarkable coincidence she submitted a milaege claim related to her election campaign that totalled a bit over $20,000 enabling her to clear her tax debt.
Somebody with a gift for arithmetic calculated that the mileage required to be reimbursed $20,000 is equivalent to one and a half times the earth's circumference.
The Federal Election Commission is investigating.
Will Ms Boebert be permitted to cast her votes from a jail cell?
