Supreme court goes against trump and allows access to his tax records.......could be interesting.

Trumps hotel in Washington has doubled the room rate for March 4....why? are they expecting a bigly influx of people wanting to stay there.
Usual current rate of occupancy is about 1 out of five rooms....ah feels for him.

We shouldn't expect to be able to read his tax returns too soon, as long as the Grand Jury gets them pronto though.

I've seen two explanations for the doubling of prices for the 3rd to 5th. According to RWNJ sites QAnon etc and media reports, the 4th March is supposed to be another coup attempt along the lines of that of 6 Jan. Or Trump will return to power by some other non-specified means. In which case he's price gouging. With hundreds from the 6 Jan facing charges, his followers may be less enthusiastic about a rerun of 6 Jan.

The other less likely explanation I've seen is that he's raised the prices to keep his followers out of the hotel. He despises them. He wants to be in with the in crowd, but the in crowd despise him. The hotel has been running on empty though, so he can't afford to be fussy.

He wants the ones who hate him and doesnt want the ones who love him....thats tough.....for him.

Since Jan 6 the FBI have been posting photos of people they want identified. Almost daily they, or others, have been posting photos of a guy who eye gouged a cop. Today I see he's been identified as Thomas Webster a retired New York cop. 'New York's finest' indeed.

Has anybody else noticed that the strangest posts on KB are often posted after midnight near the full moon?

In case you haven't noticed dear pritch he is NOT a serving cop anymore. Isn't NY a liberal ,ie Democrat, city?

And thank you for the nice flower. I haven't been anywhere pritch. You obviously haven't noticed my post over the last few weeks.

You are imagining things again pritch. Some of us KB members suffer from insomnia. What is your excuse?

I had indeed noticed. Were you smarter and almost fully literate you might have noticed the word "retired" in my post.
NY is indeed a Democrat city. The NYPD, however, is not a democratic institution. Their Union supported Trump IIRC.

I don't usually dish out red rep. Looking down the list of who gave me reds it appears to be either the less smart KBers or drunks. That one was to return a favour you did me.

Now, you back on ignore and me back to a state of tranquility.

According to your post (quoted below) ... it seems to indicate you believed she did have (some/final) say in the matter. If she wasn't in charge ... who made the "Denial of National Guard decision: ... ??

It has been reported that the CapiTol Police requested National Guard assistance before the roits happened. Palosi and her sargent in Arms denied the request.
