One concern I had about the judge's ruling that a mutually acceptable special master be appointed was that nobody would be acceptable to Trump. He would just keep playing for time.
The DoJ have now responded to the judge's ruling saying that while some of the documents could be shown to a special master with the appropriate security clearances, some of the material is so secret that showing it to anybody would harm National Security.
That's some super secret shit the orange idiot had squirelled away at his club/resort.
One amusing aspect of all this is that Trump is complaining that the details being released by the DoJ to the court are making him look bad. It was Trump who announced there had been a search warrant executed, not the DoJ. It was Trump's lawyers who filed a series of papers in court each of which required a response by the DoJ containing details that otherwise would not have been realeased until someone was charged. He caused his problems but is now crying that he's the victim.
Oh, and I loved the clip of Bannon's perp walk in cuffs. "I have not yet begun to fight," says he, just prior to pleading guilty.

So tfg has had a rant n Truth Social. Well another rant. He'd best get in quick before his media empire finally goes belly up.
He's upset about "leakers." Most of the leaks come from him and his lawyers. One of the latter had best be having a chat with the DoJ about assisting them with their enquiry though, since she has been caught lying to the FBI in a sworn statement.
"A brilliant and courageous judge" who has now received a very polite filing from the DoJ offering her options, and an oportunity to correct her mistake.
The brilliant judge who had never tried a single case as a prosecutor or a defence counsel prior to her appointment by a president who had already lost his reelection bid. She stated in her ruling that the material was still subject to executive privilege as Biden had not removed the privilege. This despite the fact that the papers submitted to the court by the DoJ iinformed her that Biden had removed any executive privilege. The brilliant judge can't even read.
There is a nuclear option as well. This judge has only very dodgy jurisdiction. The case coud be whipped out from under her and tranferred to DC where it should have been anyway.

Trump a man so innocent that he cant answer any questions under oath as he fears he will implicate himself in crimes....
Donald Trump reportedly invoked his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination more than 400 times in a deposition on Wednesday, he put himself in familiar company. This was part of a more than three-year civil investigation into whether the Trump Organization misled lenders, insurers and tax authorities by providing them misleading financial statements.........
Attorney John Eastman — who allegedly conspired with Trump to try to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election — pleaded the Fifth in response to 146 separate questions, according to court filings.
Jeffrey Clark, a Justice Department official who Trump considered naming acting attorney general in order to advance plans to overturn the electoral results, pleaded the Fifth more than 125 times, according to Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.).
Former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn pleaded the Fifth in response to multiple questions from the committee.
Former Trump adviser Roger Stone also pleaded the Fifth in response to questions from the committee.
Conspiracy theorist and Infowars host Alex Jones said he pleaded the Fifth “almost 100 times” in responding to the committee.
Videotaped depositions before the Jan. 6 committee show witnesses have used the Fifth Amendment to avoid even the most basic questions.
Flynn pleaded the Fifth in response to questions about whether the violence on Jan. 6, 2021, was morally or legally justified and whether he believes in the peaceful transition of power.
And in a previously unreported, unlisted video on the Jan. 6 committee’s YouTube page identified by Grid, Clark is seen pleading the Fifth in response to whether he was a Justice Department official on Jan. 6, 2021, and whether he knows Rep. Scott Perry, R-Pa. — the congressman who, according to other testimony offered to the Jan. 6 committee and a separate Senate investigation, introduced him to Trump.

Kinky is using a feather. Perverted is using the whole chicken
Not from what I have read.Fact is - under Trump, Life was good. Under Biden, it's worse.
Another Trump lawsuit bites the dust. Trump had instigated a legal action against 30 odd people, including Hillary Clinton, who he said had damaged him by propogating the "Russian hoax". The case was intended to come before Judge Cannon. It didn't. Trump then tried to get it moved to her but failed. The case as presented to the court was basically a succession of Trump tweets. It's all too complicated to reproduce here but Trump only succeeded in annoying the judge.
The case has been dismissed "with prejudice." That means it can't be brought again. The judge ruled that there are likely to be sanctions against Trump's lawyers for bringing such a frivolous case and he has reserved that right to himself. The 30 people mentioned in the suit can now sue Trump.
Hillary Clinton may not be interested in an action against Trump but the people who lost their jobs through Trump's vendetta might well be.
This is all self inflicted but yet again Trump will probably cry victim.

This may or may not be genuine, but it's funny either way. It's the sort of deluded nonsense that the orange idiot would say.

Meanwhile back at the funny farm…. Trump wanted a special master, an ‘unqualified inexperienced’ and some say corrupt judge, granted him one. The billionaire has asked the DoJ to share the cost. The DoJ have declined his request. Basically he wanted it, he can pay for it.
