Yesterday our time there was what was claimed to be a video of Trump arriving in Washington DC. The video is rather lacking cripsness but it's thought be Trump and he appears to be wearing golf shoes. This has caused considerable speculation. The footwear suggests an unplanned trip. The cause of such a journey might be medical, although he wouldn't normall need to visit Walter Reed VA hospital specifically. There is a woman in the sort of casual gear a nurse might wear for work. Or the cause might be legal. I was hoping to find the answer this morning but apparently not yet.

Trump has posted that he arrived in DC for work. That is generally considered unconvincing.

The Washington Post published the findings of two forensic information analysts it had retained to examine 217 gigabytes of data provided to the paper on a hard drive by Republican activist Jack Maxey, who represented that its contents came from the laptop. The analysts found that people other than Biden had repeatedly accessed and copied data for nearly three years; they also found evidence others had written files to the drive both before and after the October 2020 New York Post reports. Funny that your blurb omits when the new folders were created - according to the WaPo WHILE THE LAPTOP WAS IN THE FBIs POSSESSION.

Even Funnier is that, again - according to the WaPo, the Security experts did authenticate the emails between Hunter and Burisma - the ones where they thank Hunter for giving them an opportunity to Meet and spend time with Hunter's Father (Aka VP Joe Biden) - a Meeting the Biden went on record as never having.

Now - actually reading the Foresnics analysis (as printed) what they are talking about is that they aren't working from a Forensic Image of the Drive, rather a regular imagine, they aren't wrong.

Additionally, they talk that whilst they can't conclusively verify everything they could not prove it was hacked/altered by foreign interests either.

At one point they float the possibility of hacking both the corporate email and DNS of Burisma to alter the DKIM records (A signing technique for emails that uses a DNS TXT record with a Public key to authenticate emails as coming from an authorised source) - which tells me something about the political leanings of the analysts - If you are even going to float the idea that both the Laptop was hacked, Burisma was hacked, their DNS was hacked - sounds a bit like a Conspiracy.

I did like the line where they begrudgingly acknowledged that to hack Google and steal their DKIM private key would be a bit difficult even for state-level hackers...


So let's recap shall we? The FBI did dodgy shit. The same FBI that told social media to censor it and the same FBI who had to fire the person that did this for 'Political Bias'. The Experts verified some emails, including the one where the Ukrainians confirm they met with Joe Biden (a meeting that wasn't recorded for the VP and has been denied, at length), they couldn't prove any of the material was actually hacked/placed there by foreign powers - and they floated the suggestion that it's possible for everything in the world to be hacked, rather than admit the obvious: Biden and Co have been up to some really Dodgy shit.

See - One of my big over-arching points is that the there is a demonstrably difference in treatment between the Right and the Left. The Left is given the constant benefit of doubt, whereas with Trump - we had that he was holding US Nuclear material, then it was Nuclear material on a foreign power, no doubt as more things are revealed it will be walked back again to something approaching the truth.

In the news articles that are mentioned - we see the constant use of vague terms - basically pure speculation, but speculation that is treated with some special status - instead of being discarded.

Portraying fiction as fact is the height of journalistic dishonesty.

Now, is Biden straight up? I'm going to invoke the Sugilitte position here with 'He's a Politician so therefore has some baseline level of corruption' - I doubt many people would outright disagree with that, yes?

There's a few things about Joe that cast some serious doubt (His Ukraine dealings, Payments from the CCP, being called 'Pedo Peter' by his Son, the allegation of his daughter that he used to shower with her) on his straight-up-ness. But let's be charitable (and charitable in a way that no one would grant Trump....) and put those things aside - let's focus on just his job as US president.

You'll remember the screeching that the Left had over Trump's cognitive ability and they demanded Trump take a test, yes? Well they have been curiously silent when the Right pointed to Joe's mumbling of his words and called for the same test, for the same foundational reason.

Then we've got his handling of Afghanistan, then we have his handling of illegal immigration (if you can even call it 'handling'), then we have his Energy Policy and it's knock-on effects, Then we have his COVID Policies and it's knock-on effects.

And to top it all off, he does a speech calling half the country terrorists, bathed in Black and Red, with a Reichsta... I mean 'Eagle' behind him - to the point where even the Left-wing types were like 'Holy crap this looks bad'.

What he has done has gone far beyond the reaches of just Dithery.

OK, it seems we may have a bit more information. The meeting out in the open, away from prying eyes and any liklihood of being recorded, is possibly just a meeting of golf course staff. That has given rise to the suggestion that Trump is to host another round of the Saudi golf circus.
