Trump is still banging on about the FBI planting documents. His Special Master, the one he asked for by name, has now asked which documents the FBI planted, because he doesn't need to check those. In plain English, put up or shut up.
This particular judge is proving so problematic for Trump that there are even suggestions he may ask his pet judge to cancel the special master he himself requested.

Rudy Giuliani, former US Attorney for the Southern District of New York, and later Mayor of New York has lost his licence to practice law, is being sued by companies he has slandered to support Trump's paranoid deliusions, and by his ex wife. This week he was supposed to attend a court hearing into why he had failed to pay his ex wife the $250 odd thousand the court had ordered. Rudy didn't bother to attend. The judge has held him in contempt and ordered him to attend court, failing which he will be remanded in custody.
Christina Bobb went on any TV show that would have her claiming to be a member of Trump's legal team. It was she who signed a document for the FBI swearing that there were no government papers at Mar a Lago and who is now being investigated for lying to the FBI. She now claims that she wants to make it clear she was never a member of Trump's legal team in any matters relating to the events Mar a Lago. Good luck with that.
Interestingly Sidney Powell, she who was to "release the Kraken", also failed to front for a court appearance last week.
Trump's lawyers tend to need lawyers to stay out of jail as their careers wither and die.

Y'all will remember that recently Trump paid 3 million in advance to hire a serious lawyer. He has now sidelined his expensive new lawyer and is relying on the two women, one of whom says she doesn't work on the Mar a Lago documents case. The other one os running around the rightwing TV channels trying to get hired as a legal expert. Trump is in a spot of bother and the clock is running out.

The DoJ evidently now believes that Trump is still holding official documents. It's possible more, or all, of his properties will be searched. His new lawyer, the one he paid three million up front, counselled that he should cooperate with the DoJ. The disparate group of chancers and grifters who comprise the rest of his legal team are more gung ho and advised against that. So Trump has sidelined his best and most qualified lawyer - the only one who can be sure he will be paid.
Oh and apparently if Rudy doesn't front with the quarter million or so that he owes his wife today he goes behind bars. We'll see...

wait for the whataboutism....Donald Trump bragged that he protected Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman from congressional scrutiny after the brutal assassination of the American journalist Jamal Khashoggi. That’s according to the veteran reporter Bob Woodward’s upcoming book, Rage, set to be released next Tuesday.… Woodward wrote that Trump called him on January 22 shortly after attending the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. During the conversation, Woodward pressed the president about Khashoggi’s gruesome murder. Khashoggi 59, a longtime Washington Post columnist known for his criticism of the Saudi kingdom, was assassinated and dismembered at the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul on October 2, 2018, after going there to get paperwork for his upcoming marriage. “The people at the Post are upset about the Khashoggi killing,” Woodward told Trump on January 22, his book says. “That is one of the most gruesome things. You yourself have said.” Yeah, but Iran is killing 36 people a day, so—” Trump began, before Woodward redirected the conversation and continued to press Trump about MBS’s role in ordering Khashoggi’s killing. “I saved his ass,” Trump had said amid the U.S. outcry following Khashoggi's murder, the book says. “I was able to get Congress to leave him alone. I was able to get them to stop.”
The White House did not offer a comment when contacted by Insider. During his January 22 conversation with Woodward, the president said: “Well, I understand what you're saying, and I've gotten involved very much. I know everything about the whole situation.” Trump added that Saudi Arabia spent billions of dollars on U.S. products.

CNN have been taken over by a person with sympathies for the right. The new boss has decided he'd like CNN to take a few thousand viewers off FOX. Conservative hosts have been promoted, liberal hosts have been demoted. I don't know how many new viewers he's gained at the expense of FOX, but anecdotally he's lost thousands. CNN now it seems supports Trump. So Trump is suing CNN for almost half a million.
It doesn't matter that the statute of limitations has expired on most of the things he mentions as defaming him, or that some of the statements he objects to are true. No doubt he will be sending out another blizzard of begging emails to finance his latest litigation.
I await the news that it has been laughed out of court.
Oh, and Mad Marge Taylor Green has announced that she is suing Twitter for breaching her First Amendment rights by cancelling her private acount because she was posting COVID misinformation. There's several things wrong with that, but I guess she'll find a lawyer prepared to take her case - and her money.

The problem is (that has yet to be legally resolved) is that there are inconsistent rulings on whether or not Twitter is a Public Square. This goes all the way back to Marsh V Alabama - which said that a space that operates functionally as a Public Square where Political speech is happening IS protected under 1A.
Twitter is both Public and where Political Speech is happening. So despite being privately owned (like a Company Town), there's some strong basis to consider it a Public Space.
Furthermore, there was the lawsuit where Journalists claimed their first Amendment rights were being breached when Trump blocked them on Twitter - which falls within the right to petition. Again, applying 1A protections to a private space.
My suspicion is the suit is merely a ploy to get the account unbanned once Elon the Great takes ownership.

Why was Trump banned?
Mr Trump was locked out of his account for 12 hours on Wednesday after he called the people who stormed the US Capitol "patriots".
Twitter warned then that it would ban Mr Trump "permanently" if he breached the platform's rules again.
After being allowed back on Twitter, Mr Trump posted two tweets on Friday that the company cited as the final straws.
In one, he wrote: "The 75,000,000 great American Patriots who voted for me, AMERICA FIRST, and MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, will have a GIANT VOICE long into the future. They will not be disrespected or treated unfairly in any way, shape or form!!!"
Twitter said this tweet "is being interpreted as further indication that President Trump does not plan to facilitate an 'orderly transition'".
In the next, the president tweeted: "To all of those who have asked, I will not be going to the Inauguration on January 20th."
Twitter said this was "being received by a number of his supporters as further confirmation that the election was not legitimate".
Twitter said both of these tweets were "in violation of the Glorification of Violence Policy".
