Loony Dr Oz was beaten thank goodness and no guns were used.

This isn't something to crow about - I've got no strong opinion on Dr Oz, several commentators on the right have been very scathing of him - however Fetterman - the dude has literal brain damage from a Stroke. I don't want to shit on someone who is struggling through a medical condition - but case in point - does he support Fracking or not?

Watch the debate with Oz, you can clearly see he's not all there.

You can say that this tells you how bad Oz is as a candidate, but it also tells you that the Democrats will "Vote blue, no matter who" - they'd vote for a Puppet with a serious medical condition.

I am starting to think TDL is not a real person but a russian troll who is on a mission to stir the stale depths of NZ social media and sow discontent and anxiety among those foolish enough to engage with him/her.

I heard the full debate though, that isn't what he meant and isn't the full quote.

He was very clearly advocating for local, state level governance, in opposition to federal regulation.

The idea being that if you don't like what is happening at the local level, you can vote them out at the local level.

Hardly an Extremist position.

What our two resident Trump loonies don't seem to understand is that we live in the South Pacific on a collection of islands. They seem to think that American social media is reality.

I hope the GOP can put up a strong candidate as the Democrats don't seem able to. I don't particularly care who wins from this distance just as long as Trump doesn't.

We aren't Democrats. We live in New Zealand. We are affected by world politics and having a Strong US helps balance thing, for all the downsides. Having a clown in the pocket of obvious dictators does not.

I was thinking about lobbyist's for industry and economics when I posted tongue in cheek.

Gummint can't run without advice and the source is often very questionable. For example, here and in the UK gov have taken best practice for sustainability in the fishing industry from the fishing industry itself, Canada, too, i think.
