Considering practically everyone has said that he would run again, it's not exactly news.

    No not tremendous.

It will be absolutely superbly tremendous. It will be so tremendous you’ll get tired of seeing such a superbly tremdous rerun. You will never have seen anything like it before, it will be so tremendous that tremendous doesn’t even describe how tremendous it will be.
We made America great again, now it’s time to make America tremendous again

"Practically everyone" predicted a red tsunami too. How'd that work out?

Trump is in a bind. He announced there would be an announcement Tuesday (a sorta Trump thing). He has made many predictions about things that were to happen in "two weeks:"
    His infrastructure plan,
    HIs healthcare plan,
Probably also at some point the release of his tax returns,
    None happened of course.

Nobody except hardened MAGAts want him to run so his advice will likely be not to run. If he doesn't announce that he's running though, he'll look like the world's biggest chicken.

For what it's worth, in an attempt to save face he may announce something minimal, something minor, of little relevance to anything much. Similar to himself now.

Sure, but these two things are slightly different, both in time and scope.

Trump has been conclusively thought to run in 2024 since 2021.

Honestly - if I was him my pitch would be 'whatever Biden is doing, we'll do the opposite' and leave it at that.

From what I've seen the general attitude is that if it's between Trump and DeSantis, most would prefer DeSantis - but if it was Trump vs Biden, those same people would choose Trump.

I'm waiting for the dust to settle on the midterms to see where the polling went wrong - because remember, this prediction was made on both sides of the aisle.

How polling is done is something of a mystery to me although I did just partake in a Nielson poll.. If they still rely on landlines that's only going to access a small cohort of geriatrics. I don't know if y'all are aware but Generation Z people in the US, who voted in large numbers, will not answer a call from an unknown number. The polls were obviously totally wrong and it may be their current methods are obsolete.

It seems some Gen Zs would rather die than answer an unknown number.

I mean all Polls have a skew, I can't remember which one it is, but there is one in the US that primarily relies on Landlines and historically that has always skewed right (as older people and people with children tend to get more conservative) - however even historically left-leaning polls were predicting the same thing.

One thing that is coming out is that apparently it was single, childless women that were a major factor in this going against the polls. I'm still waiting on the details though - too much noise.

That sounds like piffle to me....how do they know that?
Mind you, they know a lot of stuff in the US.

As I said, I'm still waiting for the dust to settle - but I've heard that from both right and left sources - I believe the source is exit polling.

Given the anti-abortion stance of the republicans, is this any surprise?

Depends how you look at it.

Did you know that the majority of Anti-Abortion activists are Mothers?

But as above - waiting for the dust to settle.
