When life throws you a curve ... Lean into it ...
Overnight our time the Governor of Texas has decreed that there may only be one ballot drop off point in each county. Some of those counties might be geographically extensive. Harris County, which includes Houston, has a population of 4.7 million that's about the same population as New Zealand - with one drop off point.
That's vote suppression so blatant that we can expect to read of a court challenge tomorrow morning.
The White House is spreading the story that, "They found ballots in a river." A jounalist asked Bullshit Barbie who 'they' were and where the river was. No answer.

Antifa in Germany apparently predates WW2 which is interesting but irrelevant. There is a load of right wing rubbish about "Antifa" on the 'Net but after you wade through that, the consensus seems to be that the origin in the USA dates from 2016.

Not according to Portland Antifa.

Just saying...
Except for the Portland chapter declaring themselves founded in 2007. Referenced both on their own website and by the New York Times.
Or the Guardian Article I referenced, referring to them is 2008.
Seriously Pritch - you have been given the cold-hard data that definitively shows that you are incorrect. It's time to admit you are incorrect, that it's not 'Right wing Rubbish', that your memory is incorrect, that ANTIFA predates the creation of the Proud Boys and finally given all of that, that it was the Proud Boys who were formed in response to rising Left-Wing activist groups, not the other way around.
Remember, I've been involved in the encroachment of radical left-wing activism into various sub-cultures that I happen to enjoy as far back as 2012.
And I'm even being generous by NOT including the various Punk/Hardcore Anarchist movements (that were a response to the Skinhead Punk movement) that existed in the 80s and 90s that in many cases evolved into ANTIFA chapters.

Not so fast, there's a part omitted from that statement that has an issue.
If I want something from you and you have no intention of giving it to me for free - I either have to force you to do it (Slavery), take it from you (Communism) or use my agency to obtain something that you would be happy to trade it for (Capitalism).
Thus, in my selfish desire to obtain whatever it is I want, I am self-motivated to provide you with something that you want: Selfish Altruism. And since we are both self-motivated, the system 'works'.
I think I did 1984 in the UK, but ironically - reading it in School bored me to death, when I read it on my own merits I thoroughly enjoyed it. Same with a lot of classic literature.
I agree, but when they are able to take over a section of a major US city and the Mayor/Bureaucracy are complicit with their inaction, it's not so far-fetched as one would hope.

Who knew that going from a Trump critic to having Trumps arse cheeks warming Lyndsays face cheeks would meet with disapproval in his electorate
Graham "We are being out raised 5 to 1 they are killing us out there". Soon Trump will be saying he barely knows you if your support drops any further Lindsay
Could the title of this video be tacitly calling a patriot to stand by to do the deed?
Since Trump was elected we've learned that many things people thought were illegal weren't. The expectation was that nobody would do such a thing, Generall nobody did - until Trump.
Then too most of us would have been told that, "Ignorance of the law is no excuse." It turns out though that in US law there are exceptions to that. One exception is US electoral law, that's why Trump Jr was not charged in respect of meeting with Russians to get dirt on Hillary. The Mueller report basically couldn't prove that Jr was smart enough to know that what he was doing was illegal.
Another exception is US tax law, the offender can plead ignorance. The prosecution would need evidence that the offender had been told that what he was doing was wrong. Accountants tend to be aware of that and rarely put such messages in writing. Which explains that while it appears Trump may have committed tax offences, the prosecution is not a simple matter.
Then there's Jacob Wohl. This young man has featured regularly in the news for outrageous stunts. He hired a guy to accuse Elizabeth Warren (then a presidential candidate) of sexual assault. You might be forgiven for thinking that was illegal. There was something siimilar in respect of Special Counsel Robert Mueller and former head of the CDC Dr Anthony Fauci. There have been other attempts to incriminate Democrat politicians including Biden and Harris. He has falsified death threats against himself. A recent film of his partner being raided by the FBI turned out to be yet another Wohl theatrical production. No charges arose out of any of this.
Legal podcasts in the US have discussed how long he could pull these stunts without facing serious charges. Like us they were wondering. Now we know the answer, the Attorney General for Michigan has laid four felony charges each against Wohl and his partner relating to voter intimidation. The charges arise from a robocall operation he operated telling black voters that if they voted by mail their information would be used to track them for other purposes such as debt colection, police action, etc etc .
All over the US the response is, "ABOUT TIME."

Trump was on Fox a few days back claiming he'd been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize three times but that the media wouldn't cover it. They should cover it, the first two nominations were forgeries. Biden called it right when he called Trump a clown during the debate.

Oh and then there's this. Trump wanted a letter signed by him in every food bank parcel claiming credit for the supply of the food.

Does it?
From the very article you cited:
exhorts needy Americans to wash hands and maintain social distance, closing with: “We will support Americans’ recovery every step of the way. Together we will overcome this challenge, and our Nation will emerge from this crisis stronger than ever before.” And then Trump’s distinctive signature.
