Funny though, there has been no official announcement. The cultists are claiming that Biden is using this as a distraction to take the heat off his financial dealings with China. There is a problem with that theory, so far the only statement regarding the arrest was supplied by Trump.

I remember the great glee about how you said of Election Fraud lawsuits that the 50 or so filed all lost meant that there wasn't anything underhanded happening - so I'm trusting that by that same logic - you'll agree that there is/was nothing illegal going on with Trump?

Interesting that Trump said he'd be charged on Tuesday (US time). It's reported that the indictment would apparently normally take place at a hearing of the special grand jury. The grand jury only does about twelve hours a week, half days on Monday, Wednesday, and either Thursday or Friday. They would not normally be meeting on a Tuesday. Anyhoo we'll know tomorrow.

The coverage is tending to the sensational and usually mentions hush money to a porn star. The actual charge is much less exciting and is to do with misuse of electoral funds. Trump's partner in crime has already been jailed for his part in this same incident. Short of a cult member getting selected for the jury there wouldn't seem much chance of an acquital, but hey it's the USA where anything is possible.
