But to give a degree of creedence, I do believe that there is a mental condition called Gender Dysphoria that has always existed. We have pretty conclusively evidence of very effeminate Men, we've got certain cultural practices (Fa-Fa fena? This is actually interesting - there are elements of it that are definitely grass-roots. The discontent of certain 'globalist' policies (I'm loathe to use the word, but I think it's accurate here) - the call for less regulation and 'to let me live how I see fit', these IMO have a grass roots appeal.

I would also say that in 2016 when Trump was considered a long shot for the nomination, let alone the Presidency, that then you could call MAGA genuinely grass roots.

Now, not so much, but then I've never accused MAGA of being grass roots either.

It's not that they aren't allowed, it's more I'm completely dismissing the legitimacy of their protest.

Perhaps a better way to put it would be that Professional Activists should be required to have on their sign the sources of their funding, like other Political advertising.

E.g. "Rise and Resist, Sponsored by Pfizer!"

That would at least be a touch more honest.
