It seems the Georgia Grand Jury has voted. Court is in session. Things have started to move but there is a process to go through. The wait is almost over.

That list of names is interesting. All of the names we'd expect to see are included, but there are some new ones I've never heard of. They must be local Georgia people.
People have been working overtime this arrived about midnight US East Coast time.

We now know who most of the nineteen accused are.
In addition to the names we already knew there is the strange case of the woman who met with Ruby Freeman in a police station. Ruby Freeman is one of the election workers who was accused of mishandling votes, and of passing USB sticks which were in fact lollies. Subsequently she and her daughter had to move house because of death threats. At the meeting the woman acted as if she was a friend and was advising Freeman that it would be best if she admitted to fraud. That woman is one of the nineteen.
There is a whole group of people we hadn't previously heard of who illegally entered the State election offices and copied the hard drives of the voting machines in their search for evidence of fraud. The charges relating to computer crime result from that event.

Interestingly some of these charges carry a mandatory minimum five years prison.
Jenna Ellis, she of the side eye when Rudy farted next to her in a hearing, posted on Twitter overnight that she is praying to the Lord. Someone responded that praying to the Lord might keep her out of Hell. It won't keep her out of prison.

My word. Things are getting interesting.

A fair trial...
Manopausal.
Trump says he will use the movie '2000 Mules' as defence in his Georgia trial. That movie was produced by Dinesh D'Souza a Trumpist felon convicted of electoral fraud, subsequently pardoned by Trump. The movie proves nothing except the gullibility of those who would part with good money to see it.

It's possible Trump is playing four dimensional chess. Either that or he really is an idiot. Rudy Giuliani and Jenna Ellis, two members of his "elite strike force" that lost sixty odd court cases, are complaining that he will not cover their legal fees. It's not even as if it's his money, he's using one or other of his PACs. Presumably one that is not currently under investigation for fraud. Giuliani has property for sale to raise money to cover some his legal expenses.
These legal actions are expensive. One guy that was involved in a case, as a witness, had to pay $300,000 in legal fees. The likes of Giuliani and Ellis are not witnesses they are defendants. If Trump doesn't make money available they will be under huge pressure to flip and give evidence against him. And Giuliani knows where all the bodies are buried.
I liked Michael Cohens comment. There are three people you don't stiff: your lawyer, your doctor, and your mechanic. Otherwise when you get to the bottom of the hill you may have no brakes.
Afterthought: This is the facility that Trump and his 18 co-defendants have to report to by noon Friday, failing which a warrant for their arrest will be issued at 12.30PM.

"Trump Employee #4" in the documents case (the IT guy) has swapped his Trump supplied attorney for another and immediately let Jack Smith know that his original testimony might have been somewhat 'incorrect'.
The revised information offered will now make him an important witness for the prosecution.![]()
