There is a reason why other presidents never engaged in direct dialogue with kim
For many years Kim starved his population in order to pour money into his nuclear program. He told his people it would give them worldwide legitimacy.
And by meeting and negotiating with him, Trump did exactly that.
Trump also showed admiration for yet another dictator.
Trump went against all recommendations and got precisely nothing, like really - nothing in return for the USA out of it! All to stoke his own ego.
The stable genius and his supporters were even too stupid to realize than Kim trolled trump by sending that enormous envelope in reference to trumps tiny hands. How I laughed at trumps ego and naive stupidity.

As for the jean carroll case, i would say the jurors got the fine just about right - as that evening when trump got on the oxymoron labeled "truth Social" he went on a rant - but you know what he did not rant about or mention? Yep, Jean Carroll.

I mean, who knew that turning up for just the money part of the equation court case with a 5th tier lawyer, aggressively eyeing up the potential jurors as his "lawyer" asked them questions about their families etc then loudly disparaging the victim in front of said jurors, along with defaming the victim online over and over again throughout the trial would end badly for trump

That 83.3 million is in addition to the five million. already awarded to her. Judge Arthur Engoron has said that he will release his verdict in the NY fraud trial before the end of the month. The prosecutor is seeking 370 million in that case.

Ive seen the suggestion that Trump will seek to raise the 88.3 million from his cult. People are pointing out on social media that any donation to Trump is now a donation to
E Jean Carroll. That might cool their ardor.

The 83.3M judgment for defamation is a DJT personal expense (not business / not political). If he withdraws that from a business unit or uses PAC money he should be liable for personal income tax... on 83.3M.

His NYC businesses are currently monitored...soon to be under receivers/administrators (No trump business licenses & No trump control) to ensure the assets/resources are available to payout the NY fraud judgments.

I think it will be 'very difficult' for him to provide the cash or security required to even allow any appeals. The 'value of his brand' ain't gonna do it!

The receivers might even be legally obligated to pay out any trump 'court judgment debts' before distributing any funds left over after the property selloffs required to pay the NY penalties, fines and disgorgement!
Particularly if trump tries to declare himself personally bankrupt.

Sucks to be trump! and it will only get worse! Couldn't happen to a more deserving POS!

Yeah. That ain't what it was.

Where these court imposed penalties rank in bankruptcy proceedings is a mystery but I did see a lawyer comment about the Ruby Freeman/Rudy Giuliani case. He said In New York their claim ranked above all others. (Except possibly the tax man?)

Speaking of which, since August Giuliani has a had a fund raising campaign to raise the 146 million he has incurred in legal expenses. So far he has raised $727,000. Considering he was once widely respected as "America's mayor" that isn't much.

Not a fan. Somehow he has a huge following, I think it’s because he never explores anything in great depth (therefore not overwhelming average viewer) despite getting some interesting guests that have done great interviews in other places. Watching JR is like finding the most interesting book in the library, reading the dust jacket and putting it back on shelf.

He’s a controlled opposition outlet as much as Alex Jones’s is.

Huh? in what way? Like, science is progress and as long as we use the scientific method (key word there being method) then wouldn't we expect things to change as our* knowledge expanded?

*"our" in the "sum total of human knowledge, some of it known to only a very few, very intelligent individuals" sense, not "yours and mine" sense.

Sometimes you just have to laugh. Trump continues to bemoan how badly he is treated: rigged elections. rigged juries, crooked judges, etc etc.
He has now taken to saying he is treated worse than Lincoln. That's Abraham Lincoln - who was assassinated.

With a little luck, he will get equal treatment.

On recent happenings in New York. Rudy Giuliani reportedly wants to appeal the massive award against him in favour of Ruby Freeman and her daughter. To do so he has to post a US$148 million bond. He can't do it. He hasn't paid his lawyers either so they won't fancy their chances of getting paid if they handle an appeal.

Similarly if Trump wants to appeal the $88.3 million he owes E Jean Carrol he will have to put up $88.3 million but the legal pundits are saying he has no grounds to appeal. Some people are pointing to inadequate representation meaning that his lawyer was useless. She was, but inadequate representation is not an option in civil cases.

Alina Habba keeps banging on about not being allowed to present evidence. The evidence and the witnesses she wanted to present were to argue that Trump did not assault EJC. The judge would not permit that. The courts have already found that he did commit the assault. This case was solely about how much it would cost Trump.

There is some evidence Trump only pays lawyers who win. If Trump keeps Habba on it's either because he's getting fringe benefits, or he can't get anybody else.

Over time, trump has instigated something like 3500 Civil Court actions. Very hard (legally) for him to suggest he is an 'unsophisticated' employer of Legal Services, who could be duped by his legal representatives.

He got exactly what he wanted....except for the results!

I think any lawyer who works for Drumpf these days is stupid or trying to win notoriety...or maybe both.

Didn't Habba say she would rather be pretty than smart?
