So, chill out, let it happen, remember to breathe while you still can.

If you want to eke out some more years of your pathetic existence then you needed to start your prepper journey ten or so years ago. You need a compound somewhere, farming skills and, crucially, enough other people to make it self sustaining. A community if you will. The trope of the lone person in the cabin in the woods will make for a lonely painful death - accident, injury, disease.

Humanity's future is either Skynet or as Borg drones. Maybe as food/batteries for keeping AI going a la the Matrix.

    It'll be fine. Chill.
AI can't even pass its driving test (after a decade or more of trying). So if it does become self-aware, I'm not sure it'll be much more of an existential threat than your average moody teenager.

The staunch conservative abiding by lifelong God faring conservative principles - or the new generation maga that has old grandpa conservative hidden out back on life support while also being slowly poisoned?

Not sure what the snowflake left *fake news* media have fed you but you would be meeting a good god fearing person who believes in freedom, rights, tradition, military and the economy.

What’s not to love about us?

My 2 cents worth is, if Biden stays then Trumps path to victory gets a hell of a lot easier. And great great great great grandpa joe was quoted recently saying if the almighty came down himself and asked him to step aside, well joe would consider it
If the DNC is stooooopid enough to put Harris in, and lets face it, they are indeed stupid enough and have good history of inflicting unpopular candidates on themselves - ala hilary. Then again, Trump would be in with a bloody good chance.
Now if they were smart, and put dashingly good looking and well spoken newsom (im not a fan) in, then trumps chances would be in that gold plated toilet faster than had he eaten a 7 week old orange butter chicken reheat job.
The DNC are not smart, glad we agree on that! So therefore you have answered your question -they would put Harris in to run against trump!

Trump is probably in a lot worse mental shape than Biden. Trump was low IQ to start with and he too has Alzheimer's. Trump is the guy who couldn't even stay awake for his own criminal trial. (Well, his first criminal trial.)

LOL Somebody has been at the Koolaid. Republicans believe in freedom for themselves, they don't care about anybody else. Trump is talking concentration camps FFS. Republicans care about rights? Pull the other one. Read Project 2025. When they say they believe in small government, they mean, "small for me but big for thee."

Trump cares about the military? That'll explain the devout coward's five draft dodging deferments. You are evidently unaware that his love of the military extends to having a clause in daughter Tiffany's care agreement that if she joins the military her support stops. Also much of the Republican "tradition" is bullshit. Take those statues of southern generals, losers all. Many only date back to the mid 1960s and were a protest against civil rights progress.

The economy? Trump created by far the biggest budget blowout in US history. Oh and there's the small matter of a few hundred thousand Americans who died because of Trump's utter incompetence.

Republicans generally don't much like people of colour either. Perhaps you missed that? Nick Fuentes certainly seems to have overlooked it.

    .
Not to mention he repeatedly confused Obama and Biden
Trump confused Nikki Haley with Nancy Pelosi?
Plus who thought there were there airports during the Revolutionary War?

and so on and so on....neither should be leader of the most powerful nation in the free world.

So after the recent presidential debate you think sleepy joe had better mental cognition than trump???

The remaining part of your post - I haven’t heard such utter absolute lies. Sorry, but that was so far from the truth I lose brain cells reading it. Makes me sick.

I will agree to disagree, have a good day.

I have heard biden speak in a statesmanly like way....trump on the other hand will ramble and rant. Hearing his latest speech, trump delivered the most monotone, broken delivery that it was painful.

Hah, was just winding you up with the "poll" gig.
2016 - Polls completely wrong in Trumps favor.
2018 midterms - polls completely wrong. not in trumps favor
2020 Presidential election - Polls completely wrong. not in trumps favor
2022 midterms - polls completely wrong. not in trumps favor
2024 - polls completely (leave you to fill in the blank)

Interesting, I follow both sides propaganda "news"networks (Hilarious both sides think they are being shown the "truth"), during God faring trumps porked a pornstar while wifey at home with baby trial, and his team called one single witness. The judge ended up clearing the court and telling off the witness, who is a vastly experienced lawyer. The way the right wing media reported, they were totally shocked and had never seen anything like it, it was completely a disgraceful way for a witness to be treated! The little detail ALL right wing media missed reporting? The clown was shouting out things like "Strike That" when prosecutions lawyers said things he did not like. Now keep in mind that the witness is a vastly experienced lawyer - only Judges get to say "strike that". Not obstinate performative clowns bought in for the sole purpose of creating disruption to feed the right wing followers. And that is just one single point the right wing media "forgot to report" lol. Mate, with just a modicum of research outside the echo chambers that are the right and left wing propaganda networks, Gods truth can be found. If you want to be treated like a dummy too lazy to look about for some balanced reporting, that's fine, just don't expect a "atta boy" from others on the forum that have actually taken the time to actually do a little digging.

Oh yes, definitely agreed, the DNC are very, very stupid. But don't get too comfy - an ever increasing amount of dems are saying harris is not the one to replace joe. Uh OH, watch out orange clown!

I'd still prefer the early bedtimes and occasional confusion of an old duffer like Biden to the swirling maelstrom of ego, bloviation, cultish devotion and messianic fervour that surrounds Trump.

But it's not up to me (phew).

Replacing Joe is actually very complicated for electoral and legal reasons. There is an organisation has floated the idea of a mini run off to be held in conjunction with the Democratic conference. That would be damaging in many ways, not least that people who had supported losing candidates would not vote in the election. (This is a Democrat thing.)

If Joe is replaced now the Republicans could take it to the courts. All the way to Trump's thoroughly corrupt Supreme Court.

Normally an incumbent has an advantage but in this instance that advantage would be unlikely to apply to Kamala Harris.

It'd be a worry if it involved me directly but since it doesn't there's no point in worrying. Yet.

Straight out of the Trump playbook…
“This constant lying is not aimed at making the people believe a lie, but at ensuring that no one believes anything anymore.

A people that can no longer distinguish between truth and lies cannot distinguish between right and wrong. And such a people, deprived of the power to think and judge, is, without knowing and willing it, completely subjected to the rule of lies.

With such a people, you can do whatever you want.”
