It's generally always that style. First you infer that you are close to dog, then slowly you are like the less known younger son or whatever. Once people have invested enough they become very malleable. Then it's Kool-aid and a hail of bullets.

But make sure you gain all tangible assets and immoral sex before then.
Recommend a secret back door or tunnel. But depends on how much of your own bullshit you have swallowed.

One thing I would say is they are both very tight lipped.
They used to employ former football players back in the days of JFK. The scandals of recent years indicate a lack of discipline which raises questions about their military experience. A woman unable to holster her pistol is not indicative of a high level of training either. Leno says they are not political but that's optimistic. On Jan 6th Pence refused to get in the vehicle because he did not trust all the SS personnel present. Biden had former Trump people transferred out of his detail when he took over the White House.

Having watched all of the show now, one of the two agents was a mechanic recruited to work on the vehicle fleet. The other was recruited almost straight from university by the sound of it. No tier 1 experience there. Their haircuts scream law enforcement so are not exactly low profile.

Suglite, to be fair what Donald Trumps dad has done/attended should have no bearing on Donald himself.

And I will admit that back in those times, Donald made some mistakes, but he has grown a lot since. Remember that on the 70’s etc, including NZ, the western world was more monocultural. Pleased to say that Trump now has a high African American election boost for 2024.

Worth me pointing out, that as a Māori male, had I of lived in the 70’s sadly many of the kiwis on here would not have talked to me. And that’s ok because they were different times.

Thank you for sharing your views Dean, and fair enough on the points you make.
Personally I do not feel this leopard has changed his spots, just too much smoke around this issue to not be fire, for me anyways.
Look 3 paragraphs or so from the bottom.

Todays question revolves around underpinnings of democracy, well at least the illusion of it.
Trump lost in 2020, 60 court cases and many deep investigations found nothing of any consequence. A deep red organization actually found more votes for biden not less in Arizona. Even trumps election integrity chief said it was a fair election. Trumps falsehoods around it led to jan 6th and to this day denies he lost and has everyone around him make public declarations to this effect.
Can you please share how you being an advocate of free and fair elections can stand by a man whos rhetoric is so damaging to the election and thus the entire underpinnings of the democratic process?
    cheers

Well, if that happens, the dems will certainly take back the crown for most shots taken to ones own foot!

But she was born in the States, yes? So parents status not an issue I believe?

Did not know about the prisoner cheap firemans labor thing. Not surprised at all though as keeping prisoners in jail is a key business model over there.

There is some offensive drivel listed in your post but OK that is what the Republicans are running with. You are confused as to the qualifications though. The president must be a natural born US citizen. There is no mention of parents in the qualifications.

Harris is over 35 and was born in the US - she qualifies.

As she says, when prosecutor she dealt with sexual abusers, frauds and conmen, she knows Trump's type.

Here are the rules although it appears some have been relaxed or there are breaches. There is a woman in Congress from the former Soviet Union, Victoria Spartz, a Republican. (There have been several people born in the Soviet Union who have served in Congress.) In apparent breach there are two senators who do not live in the state they represent: Hawley and Tuberville, both Republicans.

The Democrats do have a talent for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. They now have to make a serious decision about a VP running mate for Harris. Typically the candidates would bring a strength the president doesn't have. The former governor of a swing state such as Pennsylvania would also appeal. Equally they could pick someone who could damage the ticket.

Pete Buttigieg, Secretary of Transportation, former Mayor of South Bend, appears to be a strong candidate. He speaks well, has military experience, he goes on TV armed with facts and has embarrassed FOX hosts more than once. South Bend is hardly New York or Chicago though. The big fly in the ointment is that he has a husband. The US has never yet elected a woman, I just don't think the voters are ready for Pete.

... this is where legal language crosses political strategy ... you correctly point out that current rulings go that way

('It is well settled that those born in the United States are considered natural born citizens.'); Ankeny v. Governor of Indiana, 916 N.E.2d 678 (Ind. Ct. App. 2009) (explaining that the crux of the plaintiffs' argument is that there is a distinction between a 'citizen of the United States,' as provided in the Fourteenth Amendment, and a 'natural born Citizen,' as required for qualification to be President under Article II, and, to the plaintiffs, 'the difference involves having [two] parents of U.S. citizenship, owing no foreign allegiance,' and holding that, '[b]ased upon the language of Article II, Section 1, Clause [5] and the guidance provided by Wong Kim Ark, we conclude that persons born within the borders of the United States are "natural born Citizens" for Article II, Section 1 purposes, regardless of the citizenship of their parents.').

... this is UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT SOUTHERN DISTRICT OF OHIO WESTERN DIVISION - a lower court

... this is an opinion in 'obiter dicta' - means a decision based on opinion not fact (ratio decidendi)

... when i talk to constitutional lawyers about this they laugh and say the doj has long been weaponised

Yesterday I mentioned Victoria Spartz who was born in what was then the Soviet Union. Here she is questioning FBI Director Christopher Wray about the assassination attempt. Or at least that is what she is supposed to be asking about... Wray, a lifelong Republican was appointed Director of the FBI by Trump.

I'm surprised he could answer any of the questions, with sentences that run on so long that by the end you've forgotten what you're supposed to be talking about.

A bit like a Trump speech really. The though occurs that it wouldn't be difficult to raise doubt about his cognitive function, just publish a transcript whenever he addresses a crowd to illustrate what complete nonsense it is.

It seems JD Vance's previous comments are coming back to bite him on the arse, probably doesn't pay to mess with the crazy cat ladies....
