But we're talking about mid America where they love that Mexico will pay for the wall.

Yep basic economics 101. Something interesting to come out of the Russia situation is that they are also of limited use. If you lock someone out long enough they find someone else to do business with.

They are not tariffs the are embargo's and sanctions.
Whilst they can get around some (at a significant cost using third party countries)and that is because some counties like India and china put their own need for profits in front of the rest of the worlds.
I would suggest their efforts to have them dropped tells a different story they have resulting in significant hardship for Russia to wage a war.

Even though, in that same interview, key admits that tariffs are always paid by the middle income earners of the country that applies the tariff i.e. the US. Is this him saying that trumps supporters are economically as clueless as trump himself but thats ok because key has money and will come out ahead? And thus it has always been so, even when he was pm of NZ
