The nuclear is the biggest warming problem?
Sea level raising 1/8th of an inch over 50 years?
MK47's that he knows so well?
ALL IN THE FIRST 30 SECONDS!

And if course this, a modern trump word salad classic

The dems were smart enough to ditch their word salad merchant, while the ball-less gop stand around with bright orange chins while their senile orangutan destroys their party. And idiots applaud from the sidelines because trump owns the libs.
Quite frankly, these days, I cherish conservative values more than you do.

So, he wants to increase taxation by raising tariffs, to stop the US government operating in a massive Deficit (which is an issue that should terrify everyone), cut wasteful government spending - all of which are major drivers of inflation - Inflation which has a knock-on effect to Child Care cost.

What is so hard to comprehend about that?

Methinks that the debate showed the nation that the Emperor had no clothes and that they could no longer lie in chorus with one-another to say it wasn't so.

    I'll get to that.

    Which conservative values, exactly?

Let me start with what I would consider to be the most politically neutral but conservative (small c) vision:

That Men and Women form relationships, get married, have children and raise the next generation in their own home, free to live their lives within the bounds of their Natural Rights.

I want to pause here and ask if anyone wants to disagree with that?

If we can agree with that as a Conservative Value (and I believe we can) - then 'Owning the libs' as you put it is entirely on brand:

I do apologize for this Word Salad - but it is important to know this is the ultimate vision.

A different perspective, but ultimately just different shades of Marx.

    And Again.

    I could go on.

My point is - if I take the most politically neutral 'conservative' (small C) value - hell one that the traditional working class Left-wing (but not Socialist) voter would entirely be on board with - the 'Libs' are opposed to that.

Owning the Libs, therefore, IS the most cherished conservative value - because the current Libs are entirely captured by Marxist ideas of which the entire goal is to destroy the Western Capitalist Patriarchal Heteronormative White Supremecist blah blah buzzword buzzword structure (Aka British Liberalism).

Too much indeed. Trump is not actually intellectually handicapped but neither is he much above that level. As his first Secretary of State said, he's a fuclking moron.

In case there are still people who haven't realised trump is an idiot. Note that he still thinks exporting countries will pay the tariffs he plans to impose. That is not how tariffs work.

And Sorry mate, trump destroyed the conservative arm of the gop. You were just too busy cheering to notice. Your support of trump invalidates your conservative principles. Once trump is finally gone, and the TDS recedes, reality will once again makes an appearance. Then those principles will once again return - possibly with a side helping of "how did I ever fall for that schmuck".

Okay - but in all sincerity: What do you consider to be Conservative Principals?

And to be charitable - I would say that for me Conservative principals start from 'The Natural Rights of the Individual is the highest value'. From this idea we get individualism, Law and Order, Small Government, Property rights etc.

Whereas the current Left Wing starts from the position of 'The interests of the worse-off Group is of the highest value' - which is where you get concerns about Class, The less fortunate etc.

There are other elements - The Conservatives tend to internalize success and failure: You didnt get ahead because you didn't try hard enough and they succeeded because they worked harder than you.

Whereas the current left-wing externalizes success and failure: They are only rich because they had rich parents and I'm poor because the entire system is rigged against me.

I could be snide and add a barb about economics and maths - but for me those are the big ones.

I don't see Trump falling foul of the conservative principles I outlined and with one exception I see him opposed to the left wing principles.

The exception is the America First doctrine - aka Nationalism.

Trump says he will take legal action against Harris for saying he plans to implement Project 2025. Trump claims he knows nothing about it. This despite video evidence to the contrary and the fact that he is mentioned by name in the document some 312 times.

He displays a remarkable lack of knowledge of the American legal system for someone who has used it so often. It might demonstrate though why he usually loses.

He is a very experienced loser. He just has trouble understanding when he loses as he has been so incredibly entitled his whole life. That is his superpower, entitlement!

Does this look like "conservative values" that you would support?

trump told Musk, on air, “Well, you, you’re the greatest cutter. I mean, I look at what you do. You walk in and you just say, ‘You want to quit?’ They go on strike. I won’t mention the name of the company, but they go on strike and you say, ‘That’s okay. You’re all gone. You’re all gone. So every one of you is gone.’ And you are the greatest. You would be very good.”

It’s actually illegal to fire people for striking or even threatening to strike.

He’s told several recent rallies that “I know a lot about overtime. I’ve hated to give overtime. I hated i. I get other people — I shouldn’t say this, but I’d get other people in. I wouldn’t pay.”

He’s previously called for ending the minimum wage. And opposes raising the current minimum, which hasn’t changed since 2009.

And yet those dirt poor Republicans think he’s on their side.

Why? The best explanation I ever heard was “He hates the same people we do.” And that gives them permission to ignore the fact he would be terrible for them economically.

I’m sure someone will comment that he gave low-income workers a tax break. He did. With a sunset clause. The cuts for businesses and the rich go on forever, but the cuts for everyone else — which accounted for just 17% of the total — expire in 2025, when trump expected to be finishing a 2nd term.

He gave low-income people a bribe, paid for with taxpayer money, to buy their votes.

This time he’s not even offering the bribe.
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
those cheap ass bitches can do anything with ductape.
