That was interesting indeed. Initially I was thinking I knew most of it anyway. Toward the end though some of it was riveting. I'd given up on Twitter because I wasn't seeing posts from people I was interested in. Just an endless succession of Trump aligned nonsense or worse, the dubious thoughts of Elon. And that was way before the election.

Y'all will be aware that Trump named Musk and Ramaswamy to head DOGE, a panel to seek out government waste. DOGE is not an offical arm of Government, only Congress can create government departments. That means there is a requirement for a congressional representative to link DOGE to the inner workings of Congress. The selection of that person will provide a hint as to how seriously Congress are taking this. The Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, and the Chair of the Oversight Committee, James Comer, have appointed..... drum roll.... Marjorie Taylor Greene.
