Almost uniquely I find myself in complete agreement with Trump. He said his supporters are stupid for believing him. Exactly.

It would appear that trump has ordered the release of the epstein evidence curiously from the point of view it is specifically the grand jury evidence. Well, curious no more. I will let Brian and Glen explain that particular evidence will never be released due to special protections grand jury evidence gets, but allows trump to say "but I tried".
The dems should be shouting this from every vantage point - watch them fail to do so miserably because they are an incompetent rabble of halfwits.
And if course, under the heading of "Not suspicious at all" Trump orders 1000 FBI agents to scrub his name from the epstein files.
In reality I have no idea why this particular issue is the only one in 12 years of "issues" that is dragging the orange vomit bag down, but it just keeps going!
Will there be a whistleblower?

The people at Paramount apparently thought that if you give the school bully your lunch money he'll go away and never bother you again. When Trump sued them in a bullshit case they settled for $16 million. Paramount need government approval for a proposed merger so evidently they figured the $16 million was just a business expense. If you give your lunch money to the school bully he doesn't go away he comes back. CBS have announced the end of the Stephen Colbert late night show. The business expenses are rising. Colbert will be fine, he probably never needs to work another day in his life. The writers and producers though, not so much.
Obama didn't like Fox, with good reason. He never tried to control their content though. This latest Trump move is not very authoritarian. Much.

Yeah not sure I’d agree this is politically motivated, although pleasing the President might be seen as a bonus, it’s hard to see much of a future in existing linear television formats. Plus Colbert’s salary is bound to represent a significant saving all by itself, he’ll probably end up with a podcast on Youtube. Hopefully the staff haven’t spent a lifetime learning and developing skills which AI can easily mimic…oh wait.
I know it’s small beer by comparison, but Stuff recently stopped publishing 15 Community Newspapers in Auckland, which makes me sad also. The world is moving on and frankly I’m not so sure I want to go with it.

But when you consider what else is at stake.
https://www.nbcnews.com/business/med...cbs-rcna219687But Shari Redstone, the chair and controlling shareholder of Paramount, told her board that she favored exploring a settlement with Mr. Trump. Some executives at the company viewed the president’s lawsuit as a potential hurdle to completing a multibillion-dollar sale of the company to the Hollywood studio Skydance, which requires the Trump administration’s approval.
David Ellison, Skydance’s CEO, met with Federal Communications Chairman Brendan Carr to seek approval for his firm’s long-in-the-making merger with Paramount, according to a letter from a Skydance lawyer included in a federal filing. The transaction has roiled Paramount subsidiary CBS News and its longtime crown jewel, “60 Minutes,” amid fights over its editorial independence. Ellison is the son of tech billionaire Larry Ellison, a major supporter of President Donald Trump.

Trump deciding to sue the Wall Street Journal seemed odd. It's owned by the Murdochs who own FOX which supports Trump beyond reason. I just noticed that the amount is $10 billion. That should be enough to piss the Murdochs off. If FOX declares war on Trump he will be in serious trouble.
