The lawsuit was filed even before the election was held. I was wondering how she managed to get lawyers to take her case but she found some chancers. The judge reportedly expressed the thought that he'd like to fine Ms Lake for bringing the action, but unfortunately that was not possible. He went on to say he could sanction the lawyers though and apparently he did.

The action is not against the journalists, it's against the Pulitzer Prize Board which he claims defamed him by awarding prizes to the journalists.
