Trump has surreptitiously raised a very large red flag. He has authorised the US military to operate in an area across three southern border states. The whole area has been redefined as a military installation. The assigned duties include search, arrest, and crowd control. US law prohibits the US military from operating in the US and against its own citizens. This is an attempt to get around the law, a low key introduction. Not unlike the boiling of the frog?
