The Army has AR600-9

I CBF checking Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard and Space Force - but I feel reasonably certain that they will have similar regulations.

If there is a Parade and a service member was not adhering to the regulations on Uniform or Appearance - would they still be allowed to partake in the Parade?

That is a far simpler and reasonable explanation than a very stretched attempt to have a dig at Trump.

The American video came off as just more Trump Bashing - however, I did enjoy the British one (shock!) - but it does raise a very good point. Even as a Trump fan - the snippets of the Parade (I haven't watched the whole thing) was a shambles. The closing line 'If you are going to do it, do it well'

Now - on the first point selected by Weight - absolutely, the Memo says "Are to be fit and not look fat" - again, I say that this is easily in line general Military Aesthetic.

Not drinking during official duties? Again, this is not uncommon - It was national news a few years ago when the then Queens Guard needed water whilst on-duty because of the British Heat wave.

And I use the phrase 'Military Bearing' because there is a very long history of Soldiers not cracking a smile, laughing, looking away, being distracted etc. whilst in an official capacity.
