Especially since Trump isn't the President at the moment.

One might further conjecture that this is Cope on a monumental scale because Trump wasn't actually that bad, whereas Biden is worse than even his detractors thought.

One might even go so far as to say that the multiple posts are a textbook example of 'Confession through Projection'.

Trump’s policies or lack thereof contributed to the deaths of around 461,000 Americans in 2018. In 2019, about 22,000 deaths resulted from Trump’s dismantling of environmental protection measures alone
The Commission determined that 40% of Covid-19-related deaths in the U.S. could have been prevented had the U.S. only had the same Covid-19 death rates as those of other Group of Seven (G7) nations, namely Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, and the United Kingdom.

I apply all those attribute skills to politicians as a starting point so other than not liking him it’s very hard to come up with real things hes gotten wrong going by by the posts in this thread....

Really I find it hilarious that people are so invested emotionally in running down someone who they say will ever be president anymore pretty much a has been in their eyes.., why do they feel so insecure and threatened by his existence.....

We’ve had some useless politicians here too but immediately they are forgotten about. I think the real problem is Envy. Just like John key he didn’t need the job or the money it was all about maki g the respective nation better.
Both had big business experience about bringing together a deal that works.
The left functions on the us vs them mentality and are threatened by the concept of mutually agreed deals that benefit all.

You might say something like that if you had been paying zero attention over the last six years or so. Otherwise it's completely delusional. That makes two of you.

A Silly old Bugger wouldn't be half as in incompetent as Biden. Just being a Silly old Bugger would be a certified improvement.

When people are conned like tldr or the pirate troll the last thing they ever want to admit is they were conned. There ego simply can' handle it. That's why they claim to know more than the Judges lawyers and actual experts like the FBI.
They will hold on to any possible glimmer of hope they were not conned or create all sorts of alternative truths and false narratives. All the while whilst ignoring obvious Facts.
They will make all sorts of excuses and minimisation of the conman's actions whilst claiming others have done the same or similar with no ataul evidence.

This over inflated ego combined with a massive overestimation of their own intelligence is why they are a easy mark for a conman in the first place.
i bet neither will still admit that trump lost the election in the first place.

Okay then, let's talk about being Conned.

BLM killed less people than the Jan 6th Rights.

Come on Husa, let's see you stump up your admissions, based on your own standards.

But we both know you won't.

Time to unsubscribe from this thread I think. Those two are either willfully stupid or actually stupid but it only loses brain cells trying to argue with them. Actually good time to put Rsole666 on ignore as tdl has been for ages.

Messages between Mark Meadows and others suggest the Trump White House coordinated efforts to stop Joe Biden’s certification
The fact that the select committee has messages suggesting the Trump White House directed Republican members of Congress to execute a scheme to stop Biden’s certification is significant as it could give rise to the panel considering referrals for potential crimes
Members and counsel on the select committee are examining in the first instance whether in seeking to stop the certification, Trump and his aides violated the federal law that prohibits obstruction of a congressional proceeding – the joint session on 6 January – the sources said.
The select committee believes, the sources said, that Trump may be culpable for an obstruction charge given he failed for hours to intervene to stop the violence at the Capitol perpetrated by his supporters in his name.
But the select committee is also looking at whether Trump oversaw an unlawful conspiracy that involved coordination between the “political elements” of the White House plan communicated to Republican lawmakers and extremist groups that stormed the Capitol, the sources said.
Now, as the Jan. 6 committee aims for a series of public hearings in the spring — and even some members of the GOP appear to be open to some aspects of election reform — it’s worth revisiting this legislative avenue, and whether the damning revelations already unearthed by the committee’s investigation have sufficiently changed the political landscape within Congress that passing such a law might now be possible — maybe even preferable.
There are actually two sections in the 14th amendment that come into play.
The first, Section 3, provides: “No person shall … hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath … to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same.”

The second relevant part, Section 5, states: “The Congress shall have the power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article.” This is important. It gives Congress express constitutional authority to pass legislation implementing a ban on insurrectionists holding office, rather than requiring Congress to fall back on other powers — such as its power over interstate commerce — that are more general and thus less focused on the task at hand. For example, Congress’ power to gather information as part of its legislative efforts is not express but implied in the Constitution, thus opening up for debate the Jan. 6 Committee’s subpoena power. But Section 5 is crystal clear: Congress can pass legislation to keep anyone who engaged in insurrection or rebellion out of public office.

A small point, but one that bothers me. The FBI and other agencies said they were taken by surprise, they had no idea what was to happen. That's just not credible, I knew something big was coming. The RWNJs were loud on social media, Trump was saying,"Be there, it will be wild." The left were telling people to say away as it would be too dangerous to be in DC. All this and the FBI were taken by surprise? Yeah right.
