You are pretty much preaching to the converted with me. I know the system is super corrupt, not just the US one. I know the polis are just puppets of the shadowy figures really running the show. Which makes Trumps drain the swamp statements even more laughable.

The entire system isn't super corrupt. Moral of the story: Key positions hold good people at bay with "credible" stories. As you know, who is protecting who from what is almost irrelevant unless someone is going to drain the swamp. This is where his support base is. Maybe Trump is mad enough to front such a thing. Maybe Trump is just another control mechanism. Which would you prefer given that you can do next to nothing about it? There is evidence to support both positions.

OK, I sat down and read every word you wrote carefully. Suffice to say I do not agree with much of it at all. However, unlike you, I'm self employed and do not get paid while writing kiwibiker posts. So I'm going to have to leave this argument here. I'm sure everyone else will be relieved

Except Biden is not my man, in other threads I have already stated my opinion he is simply too old and past it. It is the sad state of US politics that the best they can do is the two specimens running.

Bugga somebody quoted Mashman. The event he is reporting in bold is known to all and sundry. Biden was involved in influencing the removal of a corrupt poiltician. There is no come back on him except in the tiny minds of Trump and his followers.

Which is not to say Biden has never been involved in corrupt acts. He has. Just not the ones Trump, Giuliani etc, came up with.

The US press has a lot to answer for. Everytime Trump sounds off with his insane bollocks they cover it, it subsequently turns out to be nothing. Currently a series of Trump's investigations are coming to a conclusion in time for the election, and there were quite a few, but they are all coming up blank.

Did he really say that? ANTIFA arose out of a perceived need to oppose the militias and sundry other RWNJ groups. These groups are common in the US and some can attract support from neigbouring states, as did the Bundy protest.

The politicians have been largely hands off, but 'Vanilla ISIS' is the main terrorist threat in the US.
